Dragon Ball DAIMA has added many powerful characters and transformations to the Dragon Ball mythos. While action hasn’t been the anime’s main focus, that’s changed in the last several episodes with the fight against King Gomah. This has given fans the chance to see exactly how all the major characters in the series stack up to one another.

The cast of Dragon Ball DAIMA may not be as strong as Dragon Ball Super’s, but Gomah, Gomah, and Vegeta are more powerful than anyone in DBZ. The same can nearly be said for the hilarious Majin Brothers and the stoic Tamagamis. Super Saiyan 4, Super Saiyan 3, and the power of the Evil Third Eye are simply too strong for the majority of fighters to keep up with.

Majin Kuu is Tougher Than He Looks

Majin Kuu’s Brain is His Greatest Strength

Majin Kuu isn’t nearly as powerful as Arinsu initially hoped he’d be, but he’s nonetheless more formidable than most other characters in Dragon Ball DAIMA. The likes of Glorio and Nahare couldn’t perform against Tamagami 1 nearly as well as he did, even if he couldn’t win his lone one-on-one battle. Kuu doesn’t perform better than either against King Gomah, but the power gap there is so large that this hardly says anything.

Kuu is smarter than nearly any other character in Dragon Ball DAIMA, and there’s no telling how he could utilize this advantage in conjunction with his wild fighting style. He isn’t nearly as powerful as his little brother, Majin Duu, but he’s shown the ability to support him well in battle. If Kuu had only been made from more of Majin Buu’s essence, he’d be a force to be reckoned with.

Neva’s Mystical Powers Are Unrivaled

Neva is Immensely Strong, Even Without Being a Combatant

Neva is a rare example of a Dragon Ball character who doesn’t need to fight in order to display their power. Rather, Neva is a Namekian sorcerer who’s had millions of years to study and master his craft. Prior to the start of the anime, Neva created unbreakable seals between the three Demon Worlds, and created the three strongest warriors in the Demon Realm, the Tamagamis.

While serving Gomah, Neva was able to summon all of Earth’s Dragon Balls to his location, and make them active while they were still inert. Since teaming up with Goku, he’s become one of his most valuable allies. Neva has taken down his dimensional seals, displayed the ability to give other characters power boosts, and gifted Goku the Super Saiyan 4 transformation.

Piccolo Has Been Charged With Defeating King Gomah

Piccolo is Slightly Stronger Than He Was in the Buu Saga

Piccolo has largely taken a backseat to Goku and Vegeta in Dragon Ball DAIMA, and has only made minor contributions in fights. At the same time, he’s been consistently portrayed as one of the Dragon Team’s fighters, unlike Nahare and Glorio. Now, going into the series finale, Goku has placed his faith in Piccolo alone to help him beat Gomah.

Dragon Ball DAIMA is Running Out of Time to Make Piccolo Matter

Dragon Ball DAIMA has graciously brought Piccolo along for Goku’s great Demon Realm adventure, but fans are wondering if he’ll actually do anything.

By the end of Dragon Ball Z, Piccolo was outclassed by his Saiyan allies, but he was still trusted by Goku to act as Goten and Trunks’ mentor. Now that Piccolo has been restored to his adult body, he’s at least as powerful as he was during the fight against Super Buu. And, with how much stronger Goku and Vegeta are in Dragon Ball DAIMA compared to their DBZ counterparts, the same is likely true for him.

Tamgami 3 Couldn’t Keep Up with Super Saiyan 2 Mini Goku

Tamagami 3 Defeated Dabura Prior to His Death

Tamagami 3 is the guardian of the Third Demon World’s Dragon Ball, and the weakest of the Tamagami. Welding its mighty hammer, Tamagami 3 was undefeated prior to the start of Dragon Ball DAIMA. Even the former Supreme Demon King, Dabura, paled in comparison to Neva’s artificial warrior.

Tamagami 3 finally met his match in the form of Goku. While it was able to challenge the young Saiyan more than most of his Demon Realm opponents, this was only true while Goku fought in his Base form. Using Super Saiyan, and to a lesser degree Super Saiyan 2, Goku was able to blow Tamagami 3 away.

Tamagami 2 Pushed Mini Vegeta to Use Super Saiyan 3

Tamagami 2 impresses during his early moments, managing to successfully overwhelm Vegeta at the beginning of their fight. Fighting with a trident, it’s able to knock the Saiyan Prince into the ocean, where he’s eaten by a kraken. However, things quickly turn against Tamagami 2 once Vegeta turns Super Saiyan 3.

Dragon Ball DAIMA Doubles Down on SS3 Vegeta Plot Hole, Retconning Dragon Ball Super Again

No matter how you slice it, Dragon Ball Super can no longer be canon without major revisions – and Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta is the proof.

SSJ3 Vegeta completely dominates Tamagami 2 during the back-half of their fight. There’s absolutely nothing Tamagami 2 can do to fight back against him, even after Neva steps in to power him up. It may be stronger than Tamagami 3, but that wasn’t enough for it to preserve its undefeated record.

As the guardian of the First Demon World’s Dragon Ball, Tamagami 1 is the most powerful Tamagami. In its debut battle, it swiftly forces Majin Kuu to surrender. Tamagami 1’s subsequent brawl sees it nearly claim victory over Majin Duu, only losing after Duu is boosted by the power of chocolate.

Dragon Ball DAIMA Episode 19 Grows Up As Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta & Super Saiyan 4 Goku Redefine the Anime

Dragon Ball DAIMA’s penultimate episode restores the status quo in a glorious, action-packed assault as Goku and Vegeta go all-out on Gomah.

Unlike its robotic siblings, Tamagami 1 has been contributing to the fight against Third Eye Gomah. Besides Goku, Vegeta, and Majin Duu, it performed better against the Supreme Demon King than anyone else. Tamagami 1 was once the strongest being in the Demon Realm, but this will never be the case again so long as Majin Duu lives.

Majin Duu Can Match the Power of Super Saiyan 3 Mini Goku

Majin Duu Possesses His Own Take on Super Saiyan 3

Majin Duu may be dumb, but his strength is even greater than the weaker forms of Majin Buu. Utilizing stretchy limbs, mouth blasts, and his butt, Duu defeats Tamagami 1 in his first ever fight. This battle is also when the secret to his success is discovered, as Duu can only achieve his full power after consuming sweets.

Majin Duu has grown even stronger throughout the clash with Supreme Demon King Gomah. He particularly impresses after he watches Goku enter his Super Saiyan 3 form, and copies it. Duu is only able to briefly maintain his false Super Saiyan 3 transformation but, while it’s active, he’s able to demolish Gomah.

3

Super Saiyan 3 Adult Vegeta Defeats King Gomah

Vegeta is Cheated Out of a Win by the Evil Third Eye

In Dragon Ball DAIMA Episode 19, “Betrayal,” the Z-Warriors are finally turned back into adults. While it long seemed like being turned into kids had no effect on their power levels, Vegeta immediately proves this notion false. Entering his new Super Saiyan 3 transformation, Vegeta takes on Gomah one-on-one, and nearly wins.

Whereas Mini Vegeta couldn’t hold a candle to Third Eye Gomah, Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta matches the Majin blow for blow. Following their beam struggle, Vegeta destroys Gomah completely. If not for the Evil Third Eye making Gomah seemingly immortal, Vegeta would have finally been able to defeat a main villain.

King Gomah Wields the Most Powerful Object in Dragon Ball History

The Evil Third Eye Makes Gomah Nearly Invincible

Since acquiring the Evil Third Eye, King Gomah has established himself as one of the strongest villains in all of Dragon Ball. At the beginning of Dragon Ball DAIMA‘s final battle, Gomah fought against Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, Glorio, Nahare, Majin Kuu, Majin Duu, and Tamagami 1 at once, and wins. Since then, he’s also bested Super Saiyan 3 Goku and Super Saiyan 3 Majin Duu, Super Saiyan 4 Mini Goku, and Super Saiyan 3 Adult Vegeta.

Dragon Ball DAIMA’s Main Villain & Jiren Share a Crazy Connection – & It’s Probably Not a Coincidence

Gomah’s menacing appearance gives him the look of Dragon Ball DAIMA’s true villain, but his likeness to Jiren suggests a strange connection to Super.

Prior to gaining the power of the Tertian Oculus, Gomah was a feared sorcerer, and close in strength to Dabura. Now, Gomah stands above Dragon Ball Z’s entire cast, including Super Vegito and Buuhan. Not only that, but as seen in Episode 19, the Third Eye renders him unkillable and makes his stamina infinite.

Adult Super Saiyan 4 Goku is About to Destroy King Gomah Once & For All

Goku Has Amassed the Greatest Level of Power in Dragon Ball DAIMA

Impressive as Super Saiyan 4 Mini Goku was, the true champion of Dragon Ball DAIMA has finally arrived in the form of Super Saiyan 4 Adult Goku. With only one episode in the anime remaining, there’s no time left for more twists and Goku won’t be gaining any more new forms. Using the newfound power of Super Saiyan 3, Vegeta was about to defeat Gomah.

While he ultimately lost, Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta performed even better against Gomah than Super Saiyan 4 Mini Goku. Being an adult clearly makes a massive difference, and even the Tertian Oculus can no longer give Gomah an edge over the Demon Realm’s savior. Super Saiyan 4 Adult Goku may not have the power to kill Third Eye Gomah, but he nontheless has what it takes to bring him down once and for all.
