The 2025 Pittsburgh RV Show opened on Saturday at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center, marking the start of the longest-running indoor RV show in the United States.
The event, which spans nine acres, features a wide range of RVs and outdoor products, attracting visitors looking to explore the latest offerings in recreational vehicles.
This year, organizers noted a significant increase in interest, with online ticket sales up 10-12% compared to last year.
The Pittsburgh RV Show showcases over 25 brands and 115 models of RVs, providing ample options for attendees in search of the right vehicle.
Randy Giancola, the promoter of the event, highlighted the competitive pricing available at the show.
“This is the only multi-dealer show in Pittsburgh where over a dozen dealers are going to compete for your business,” Giancola told CBS News. “And the way they get your business is with low prices.”
In addition to the wide variety of RVs, the show also features a diverse selection of products related to camping and outdoor recreation, including campgrounds, e-bikes, scooters, boats, and golf carts.
“We have the area campgrounds. We have a bunch of different vendors selling their wares. But we have boats, we have e-bikes, we have scooters, we have golf carts,” Giancola added.
For many attendees, the RV show is an opportunity to experience the latest in RV technology and design.
Dee Main, a visitor from Columbus, Ohio, shared her excitement about the variety of RVs available, saying, “They’re great. They’re like miniature little houses. We have a ball when we’re camping.”
The event is expected to draw more visitors throughout the week. The show will remain open daily until January 19, with hours from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturdays, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays.
This year’s event is not only a chance to explore new RVs but also an indication of a rebounding RV market as interest in outdoor recreation continues to grow. “The uncertainty’s gone,” Giancola said. “So people will come out now. They’ll start to spend some money.”
