Naruto accomplished his dream of becoming the Hokage of the Hidden Leaf Village, but he also obtained something he never had while growing up — a family. Naruto is a loving husband and father in the Boruto sequel series, and most of his family members are strong ninjas who are loyal to the Leaf Village. Many of them are Jonin, but some can easily be considered Kage-level, even though they are incredibly young.
All of Naruto’s family members possess an ocular kekkei genkai, primarily the Byakugan, which provides x-ray vision and a near-360º field of vision around the user. By some stroke of luck, Naruto’s family is filled with dangerous taijutsu users, and his children now have the power to take on an entire village and miniature versions of the Ten-Tails. His distant relative can theoretically destroy the Earth if he is at full power.

Hinata Has Mastered Some of the Hyuga Clan’s Most Advanced Techniques
Naruto’s Wife
Hinata first met Naruto on the day she enrolled in the Leaf Village’s Ninja Academy. He protected her from three bullies and gave her his scarf. Hinata became inspired by Naruto’s never-give-up attitude and quickly developed feelings for him. It took a few years, but Naruto realized he loved Hinata, too, and the couple tied the knot in the final episode of Naruto: Shippuden. Hinata may not be as skilled as other members of her immediate family, but she has mastered many of the Hyuga Clan’s advanced techniques.

Some of the most underrated characters in Boruto have a long history of being forgotten and underdeveloped by the Naruto franchise.
Hinata has become a capable Gentle Fist user and can directly target an opponent’s chakra network with her Byakugan. She can repel projectiles and target an enemy’s vitals from a distance with the Eight Trigrams Air Palm technique, and she can strike their body directly with the Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms. She can also drain an opponent’s chakra and land devastating blows with the Twin Lion Fists technique. During the Fourth Great Ninja War, Hinata defeated many White Zetsu, and she protected Naruto from the Ten-Tails later on. Hinata is a stay-at-home mom in the New Era, but she is still a Jonin-level ninja.

Hanabi Is a Hyuga Prodigy & the Future Leader of the Clan
Naruto’s Sister-In-Law

Hanabi became the heiress of the Hyuga Clan when she was 7 despite being Hinata’s younger sister because their father deemed her skills to be superior. His instincts turned out to be correct because Hanabi is a Hyuga prodigy just like her cousin Neji. Thanks to her natural talent and rigorous training, Hanabi became a highly proficient Gentle Fist user by the time she was a teenager. She is now a respected Leaf Village Jonin in the New Era and leads Team 15, which includes promising ninja like Sumire and Wasabi.
Hanabi can use most of the Hyuga Clan’s advanced techniques, including Rotation, a secret defensive technique that even Hinata cannot use. During a duel with Boruto, Hanabi demonstrated how evasive and precise she can be in battle by effortlessly dodging and parrying all of his attacks. Hanabi never got a chance to show off her power in actual combat, but she can easily defeat multiple opponents at once.

Hiashi Is Still Considered the Hyuga Clan’s Strongest Member Despite His Age
Naruto’s Father-In-Law

Hiashi is now in his 60s, but he is still considered the strongest member of the Hyuga Clan and continues to serve as its leader. Despite his limited screen time, Hisashi was one of the Leaf Village’s strongest ninjas for well over a decade, and he demonstrated his strength during the Konoha Crush Arc. He faced at least a dozen invading Sand ninja without any armor or weapons, and defeated them all in seconds.
During the Fourth Great Ninja War, he kept his reanimated brother, who was just as strong, at bay for the entire first day of the war. Later on, Hiashi repelled the Ten-Tails’ wooden projectiles with the Air Palm technique. The only reason Toneri’s puppets were able to injure him is because they dogpiled him all at once, and even then, they were forced to seal him in a cave to prevent him from escaping or fighting back. New Era Hiashi can no longer fight in prolonged battles, but he is still a dangerous ninja.

Toneri Can Access God-Like Power, But Only If He Acquires the Tenseigan
Naruto’s Very Distant Cousin
Toneri is the last living member of Hamura Otsutsuki’s branch family, which lived on the moon to oversee the Earth and guard Kaguya’s body. As a member of the Uzumaki Clan, Naruto’s lineage is directly tied to Hagoromo Otsutsuki, Hamura’s older brother. Since Naruto and Toneri are both Kaguya’s direct descendants, they are technically distant cousins separated by multiple generations. Toneri may not have his eyes, but Urashiki deemed him a threat nonetheless and petrified him for ten thousand years,

When Toneri acquired the Tenseigan, he gained access to Tenseigan Chakra Mode, which is powerful enough to match Naruto’s Sage Mode-enhanced Nine-Tails Chakra Mode. While in this state, Toneri can control a set of Truth Seeking orbs, which can disintegrate anything upon contact. At full power, Toneri can produce a gigantic sword of golden chakra that can slice the Moon in half.

Himawari Has Already Become a Powerful Perfect Jinchūriki
Naruto’s Daughter

Himawari is Naruto’s youngest child. She has inherited the Uzumaki Clan’s powerful life force and the advanced chakra control of the Hyuga Clan. She awakened the Byakugan when she was very young, and by age 10, she could activate it at will. Despite having never used the Byakugan before, Himawari knocked out Naruto and the Nine-Tails for an entire day with an unexpected strike. She has since become a talented Gentle Fist user.
Naruto lost the Nine-Tails after his fight with Isshiki Otsutsuki, but the Tailed Beast has now reincarnated inside of Himawari. According to the Nine-Tails, Himawari is more compatible with him than any of his previous hosts, which explains why she has basically become a Perfect Jinchuriki already. As a result, Himawari can produce a Tailed Beast Ball which can wipe out an army or village, and she can go toe-to-toe with Jura, a sentient humanoid Ten-Tails, for a short time.

Kawaki Is a Living Weapon With Isshiki Otsutsuki’s Power
Naruto’s Adopted Son

As a result of Aida’s Omnipotence Shinjutsu, most of the Ninja World believes Kawaki is Naruto’s son, which is not as outlandish as it seems. Naruto and Hinata technically adopted Kawaki before Omnipotence was used, meaning he was already their son, just not by blood. Kawaki was selected to be Isshiki’s next vessel, and Amado turned him into a living weapon by integrating Microscopic Scientific Ninja Tools into his body. As a result, Kawaki can turn his hand into monstrous claws and can vaporize people with energy blasts.

Kawaki still has Isshiki’s Karma, which gives him Otsutsuki-level strength. Not only can Kawaki absorb ninjutsu and open dimensional portals, but he can use Isshiki’s Kokugan as well. This ocular kekkei genkai allows Kawaki to shrink objects and return them to their normal size. He can store objects in a pocket dimension as well. As it currently stands, Kawaki is a Kage-level teenager who can take out Claw Grimes on his own, and his power will become even greater when Amado removes his limiter.

Boruto Is a Ninja Prodigy Who Benefits From Momoshiki Otsutsuki’s Power & Impeccable Training
Naruto’s Son
Boruto is Naruto’s oldest biological child and is considered a genius just like his grandfather, the Fourth Hokage. He learned to use the Rasengan quicker than Naruto and even created a variant which vanishes prior to impact. He may not be a Jinchuriki, but Boruto possesses Momoshiki’s Karma, which gives him Otsutsuki-level strength and abilities just like Kawaki. Unlike Kawaki, Boruto wields the Jogan, an eye that can see the flow — which is considered very troublesome by Otsutsuki standards because it can perceive the flow of chakra.
After training with Sasuke and Koji Kashin, Boruto has become a proficient swordsman who can solo Code and multiple Claw Grimes. He can take down Mitsuki while he is using Sage Mode and knock Kawaki out with a punch. Boruto has developed his own version of the Flying Thunder God Technique to instantly teleport to other locations. He also created Rasengan: Uzuhiko, which utilizes the Earth’s rotation to deliver debilitating vertigo. Boruto might not be able to fight Jura yet, but he has definitely become as strong as a Kage.
