More than 75,000 bottles of International Delights coffee creamers have been recalled after reports of spoilage and illness from using the products.
Two flavors of the International Delights coffee creamers were recalled, with identifiers as follows:
- Cinnabon Classic Cinnamon Roll International Delight Coffee Creamer (32 fl oz, UPC: 041271019933, best by date Jul. 3, 2025)
- Hazelnut International Delight Coffee Creamer (32 fl oz, UPC: 041271025652, best by date Jul. 2, 2025)
The FDA classified the recall as Class II, meaning the use of exposure to the products “may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences or where the probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote.”
The recalled coffee creamer was distributed to 31 states, including Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
“A limited number of these products did not meet our quality standards, due to premature spoilage manifesting as a texture issue. While we know this is disappointing for our creamer fans, testing data has confirmed that this is not a food safety issue. We chose to voluntarily recall these isolated products out of an abundance of caution while we address the quality issue,” a representative from the manufacturer Danone North America told Verywell in a statement.
If you have the recalled coffee creamer, don’t use it. Even if it looks and tastes normal, it could still be spoiled and potentially make you sick.
Either throw the product away or take it back to the store for a refund. You can also call the International Delight Consumer Care Line by phone at 1-(800)-441-3321 if you have questions about the recall.
