Situated less than two miles from the park’s entrance, the retreat provides an ideal base for exploring one of the world’s most famous cave systems.
Spanning more than 100 acres of Kentucky’s rural landscape, The Maple Retreat offers easy access to outdoor activities such as hiking, kayaking, and horseback riding. The retreat’s proximity to Mammoth Cave National Park—a UNESCO World Heritage Site—allows guests to participate in guided cave tours, ranger programs, and other recreational opportunities.
Visitors can also explore nearby attractions, including the Park Mammoth Golf Club, Dinosaur World, and Kentucky Down Under Adventure Zoo, enhancing their experience in the region.
