Grand Design RV unveiled key features of its upcoming Lineage Series F Super C motorhome, marking a significant step in the company’s expansion into the Super C market. The new model, the 31ZW, will be showcased at the 2025 Tampa RV Super Show from January 15 to 19, with full production expected for early in the next year.
The Lineage Series F is built on a 22,000-pound GVWR platform and features a 43,000-pound gross combined weight rating. The motorhome is powered by a 6.7L Power Stroke diesel engine, delivering 330 horsepower and 950 ft-lbs of torque. These specifications cater to the growing demand for more versatile motorhomes.
“The Super C market continues to grow and has been waiting for true innovation, and Lineage Series F delivers exactly that,” Tommy Hall, motorized general manager at Grand Design RV, said.
He emphasized that the new model sets a robust chassis, customizable Fox Racing suspension, and premium amenities, aiming to redefine customer expectations in the Super C segment.
The move is seen as a strategic effort to expand the company’s motorized product lineup. The debut of the Lineage Series F at the Tampa RV Super Show will provide prospective buyers with a firsthand look at the motorhome’s capabilities and features.
Among the key components highlighted by the company is the custom-engineered MORryde modified chassis with Fox Racing suspension. This setup is designed to offer enhanced ride quality and stability, making the motorhome suitable for both highways and off-road excursions. The vehicle’s towing capacity of 15,000 pounds further adds to its versatility, catering to owners who tow additional vehicles or recreational equipment.
The interior of the Lineage Series F also reflects a focus on luxury and functionality. The motorhome is equipped with a 320 Amp/hr lithium battery system, 1,000 watts of solar power, and a 2000 Watt Xantrex inverter, ensuring reliable power for off-grid adventures.
“We started this project by challenging every convention in Super C design,” Mike Hums, product manager for the Lineage Series F, said in a press release.
“From the foundation up, we’ve engineered a coach that performs as impressively in the backcountry as it does on the interstate.” He noted that the collaboration with Fox Racing and MORryde resulted in a suspension system that allows owners to customize their rides based on driving conditions.
The dual-zone 15K BTU air conditioning system, which includes a separate unit for the cab-over bunk area, is also designed to maintain consistent temperatures throughout the vehicle.
Inside, the Lineage Series F offers a modern, European-inspired aesthetic with Tecnoform Italian cabinetry and a premium finish. The 80-inch-long Indratech king-size rear bed provides a spacious and comfortable sleeping area, while an optional stacked washer and dryer add convenience for extended trips.
