New Invincible Spin-off Announced After Amazon Series Success

Skybound and Image Comics announce a brand-new Invincible spinoff comic book series, Invincible Universe: Battle Beast.

It was previously confirmed that there would not be a midseason break for Season 3. This follows some criticism that there had been when Season 2 was split into halves. That may have been in part due to the wait fans endured to get to the second season. After the first season wrapped up in April 2021, Season 2 did not premiere until November 2023, although there was a one-off special that was released in July 2023 to help hold fans over. By comparison, the wait for Season 3 is not quite as long, as it’s less than a year since Season 2 ended in April 2024. It’s also been teased that the quality is only getting better as the series continues.

Invincible Could Potentially Last for Many More Seasons to Come

“We’ve already written a bunch of Season 4,” creator Robert Kirkman said about the progress on the next season at CCXP. “The way [writer Simon Racioppa] and I have [it] mapped out… roughly eight seasons. Could be seven. Could be 10.”
