Harvard Summer Programmes 2025: Courses
Students are encouraged to take time to identify areas that spark their curiosity or challenge their academic and intellectual boundaries. The courses available are as follows:
7-Week Secondary School Programme (SSP):
This programme offers different formats, including:
- 7-Week SSP Residential: Students can live on campus.
- 7-Week SSP Online: Courses and extracurricular activities are delivered entirely online.
- 7-Week SSP Commuting: Students who live nearby can commute to campus while studying.
The 7-Week SSP (Residential, Online, or Commuting) will begin on 21 June and conclude on 9 August.
4-Week Secondary School Programme (SSP):
This fully residential programme offers on-campus courses exclusively. It will run from 13 July to 8 August.
Pre-College Programme:
This intensive two-week summer programme is designed to provide students with a glimpse of college life. Participants live on the Harvard campus and take a college-level course alongside other Pre-College Programme students.
- Session I: 22 June – 3 July
- Session II: 6 July – 18 July
- Session III: 20 July – 1 August

Harvard Summer Programmes 2025: Eligibility Criteria
Secondary School Programme (SSP):
- Students must graduate from high school and enter college in 2025, 2026, or 2027.
- They must be at least 16 years old by 21 June and under 19 years of age before 31 July.
Pre-College Programme:
- Students must graduate from high school and enter college in 2026 or 2027.
- They must be at least 16 years old by 21 June and under 19 years of age before 31 July.
Harvard Summer Programmes 2025: Documents Required
Students should ensure they have the following documents ready before submitting their application:
- Transcript
- English language proficiency
- Guidance counsellor report
Harvard Summer Programmes 2025: Overall Cost
Applicants must pay a non-refundable $75 (approximately Rs 6,400) application fee. The total cost of the programme depends on the number of courses taken:
- 7-Week Online or Commuting: $4,050 for 4 credits (Rs 3.5 lakh) or $7,900 for 8 credits (Rs 6.83 lakh)
- 7-Week Residential: $14,950 for 8 credits (Rs 12.93 lakh)
- 4-Week Residential: $8,650 for 4 credits (Rs 7.48 lakh)
- Pre-College Programme: $5,800 (approximately Rs 5 lakh)
