Nicole Kidman‘s Satine is taken with Ewan McGregor‘s Christian when he starts singing the lyrics to Elton John’s “Your Song” in a pivotal scene in Moulin Rouge! And it appears Kidman herself was equally captivated by the lyrics of the famous love song.

During a visit to The Late Show on Thursday, the Babygirl actress and AMC icon revealed that she owns the original handwritten lyrics to “Your Song,” which lyricist Bernie Taupin scribed. The song, released in 1970, became a Billboard hit and was covered by several other musicians over the years. When host Stephen Colbert asked Kidman where she keeps the coveted lyrics, she held a finger up to her mouth and said, “Shhh!”

Baz Luhrmann’s 2001 jukebox musical, Moulin Rouge, featured songs made famous by John, Madonna, Nirvana, The Police, and more. A Broadway production of the musical opened in 2019. “Your Song” is the first musical number that Kidman and McGregor share in the film, before launching into the “Elephant Love Medley,” which was recently satirized on SNL.

Elsewhere in the interview, Kidman continued to display her great taste in music. Her first concert, she said, was AC/DC, followed by David Bowie. Both revelations got cheers from the audience. As for movies, she listed the first Mad Max and La Femme Nikita as her favorite action flicks. “That’s a deep cut,” she said on the latter.

When asked by Colbert what song she would listen to for the rest of her life if she could only pick one, however, she did not list “Your Song” or anything else by John. Instead, she trolled Colbert by answering, “4′33″ by John Cage,” a mostly silent piece.
