The dark fantasy Berserk has had countless figures and collectibles based on the different arcs in the manga. Now, fans can help their collections enter the “golden age” with an impressive take on Guts in all his glory.

Part of Bandai’s S.H. Figuarts series, the new Berserk figure by the toy developer is based on his appearance in the “Golden Age arc” of the series. Detailed and armed to the hilt, the collectible boasts several weapons, expressions and even a cloth cape. With preorders opening soon, it’s everything collectors will want to bring epic scenes from the manga to life.

The Berserk manga partners with the clothing brand Uniqlo to bring Kentaro Miura’s iconic series to life, taking inspiration from Guts and Femto.

Berserk’s Golden Age Arc Comes to Life in New Bandai Action Figure

Representing the order of the Hawk, the new Guts figure from S.H. Figuarts is worthy of the legacy of Kentaro Miura’s Berserk series. Detailed from head to toe, the six-inch figure features Guts in his “Golden Age” arc armor and comes complete with a red cloak on his back (which also has the Band of Hawk symbol). As in the manga, the character is always ready for battle, as seen in his different weapon options. Along with his classic Dragonslayer sword, he also has a sharp knife, with both blades able to be sheathed. Guts has three sets of interchangeable hands and four interchangeable faces, two of which work with the optional helmet for his head. This helmet can be lifted up and down, letting Guts show his face after rushing into battle.

One of the faces (a shouting face) is even inspired by the manga, allowing for more accurate recreations than anything seen in the 2016 Berserk anime. Preorders open for the figure on Feb. 3, 2025, with the actual release date planned for sometime in July. It’s set to retail for 11,000 yen, or roughly US$70, including tax. Given how well-crafted the figure is, especially its highly detailed armor, this is an exceptional deal for an action figure that begs to be added to collectors’ shelves. It’s far from the only Berserk figure from S.H. Figuarts, with a collectible based on Isidro being another recent release. The Berserk manga is still a major seinen hit, with the bestselling series continuing after the death of creator Kentaro Miura.
