Beyoncé is once again saddling up for the road.

The Grammy-winning megastar has finally announced the news that fans have anticipated since March: a tour pegged to her latest album, Cowboy Carter. After teasing the news earlier this month, Queen Bey’s announcement came late on Saturday evening with an Instagram video showing off a neon sign hanging above a desert floor.

“Cowboy Carter Tour,” the sign read in bright, brick letters.

In a second post, captioned, “COWBOY CARTER TOUR 2025,” the singer showed off a new headshot with bleached eyebrows and platinum braids against a black background. She shared no further details, including tour dates, but fans are already in a frenzy over the news.

“Let me go put my outfit together,” wrote one Instagram user, while another joked, “Where do I park a horse at a stadium.”

Fans were well aware that an announcement from Beyoncé was on the way. The superstar capped off her Christmas Day NFL halftime performance by teasing a big announcement, set to arrive on Tuesday, Jan. 14. However, when the date rolled around, the “Bodyguard” singer opted to postpone her news for a later date, in light of the devastation caused by the then-ongoing wildfires in Los Angeles.

“I continue to pray for healing and rebuilding for the families suffering from trauma and loss,” she wrote on Instagram. “We are so blessed to have brave first responders who continue to work tirelessly to protect the Los Angeles community.” She also provided fans with a link to provide support for those affected.

News of the upcoming tour keeps the momentum of Beyoncé’s 2024 album going well into the new year. Not only was Cowboy Carter a commercial success, but its lead single “Texas Hold ‘Em” broke several streaming records, and hit No. 1 on multiple Billboard charts, making Bey the first Black woman to have a No. 1 country song and reach the top spot on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart.

Her Christmas Day NFL halftime show — dubbed the “Beyoncé Bowl” — went off without a hitch, and saw her showcase several songs from the album, including “16 Carriages,” “Ya Ya,” “My House,” “Spaghettii,” “Riiverdance,” “Sweet Honey Buckiin,” “Levii’s Jeans,” “Jolene,” “Texas Hold ‘Em,” and a cover of the Beatles’ “Blackbird,” featuring a quartet of Black country singers, Tanner Adell, Tiera Kennedy, Reyna Roberts, and Brittney Spencer.

Most recently, Beyoncé broke another record in November when she became the most-nominated artist in Grammys history, after receiving 11 additional nods for Cowboy Carter at the upcoming 2025 Grammys — including for Record, Song, and Album of the Year. With 99 total nominations to her name, she has surpassed her husband Jay-Z‘s 88. (She also holds the title of the most-awarded artist in Grammy history with 32 wins.)

Beyoncé notably earned nods in every Grammy country category for Cowboy Carter, including Best Country Solo Performance, Best Country Duo/Group Performance, Best Country Song, and Best Country Album — despite landing no CMA Award nominations amid controversial critics insisting that the country album didn’t qualify as country.

The 2025 Grammys air on Sunday, Feb. 2, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on CBS and Paramount+.
