Alpen Bluffs, a new luxury outdoor resort in Gaylord, Michigan, is now accepting reservations, offering a mix of RV sites, glamping yurts, and log cabins designed to provide an upscale outdoor hospitality experience.
Situated along M-32, less than a mile from downtown Gaylord, the resort aims to combine high-end amenities with the natural appeal of Northern Michigan.
The resort features 227 full-hookup RV sites, 14 glamping yurts, and 30 fully furnished log cabins, each equipped with city water, sewer, and high-speed fiber internet.
According to co-owner Rob Platt, Alpen Bluffs was developed to offer guests a unique and memorable stay.
“Our vision has always been to create a one-of-a-kind glamping retreat that will create memories for a lifetime,” Platt said in a report by 9&10 News.
Beyond accommodations, the resort includes a range of amenities designed to enhance the guest experience.
Attractions include an outdoor aquatic park, a shipping container bar with an entertainment venue, a playground, an 18-hole mini golf course, pickleball courts, and a gem mining sluice for children.
Additionally, guests can access an indoor golf simulator tavern with a full-service restaurant, and food delivery is available to guest sites.
With proximity to local golf courses and ski resorts, Alpen Bluffs presents itself as a year-round destination.
“It’s a very unique resort with golf and skiing within a stone’s throw,” Platt said. “Not only do we have RV sites, but our cabins hold up to eight people and are fully furnished. In addition, we offer a unique overnight experience in our glamping yurts.”
For outdoor hospitality professionals, the resort’s approach highlights the growing trend of blending luxury with traditional camping.
