Each week during The Bachelor, host Jesse Palmer will answer a few questions about Grant’s “journey” to find “love.” Today, Jesse shares his thoughts via email about Dina’s conversation with Grant about Carolina, Litia’s religion reveal, and more.
ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: Before we get started, I have a very important question about what we saw on the golf course: Sir, where did you learn to moonwalk?
JESSE PALMER: I learned then and there on the golf course with Grant, although I’m not sure you can call what I did “moonwalking.” It was more like I was “aerating” the fairway.

This week, everyone traveled to Edinburgh, Scotland. Grant wore a kilt twice — why didn’t we see you in a kilt?
I actually was wearing a kilt under my suit at the rose ceremony…
There was drama on the group date, because the women once again believed Carolina was monopolizing Grant’s time. Dina went so far as to complain to Grant about Carolina’s behavior — which is always a risky move. What’s your opinion in these situations: Is it better to tell the Bachelor if someone is causing drama or keep it to yourself — and why?
History on this show has shown that it generally doesn’t end well for those that go to the lead — but I thought Dina was justified in going to Grant since she was speaking on behalf of other women as well.
On their one-on-one date this week, Litia told Grant that she’s a member of the Mormon faith. I was a little surprised she waited this long to tell him about something that’s such a big part of her life — what was your reaction to that conversation?
Perhaps Litia felt that this was the right moment to tell Grant about her faith. Regardless of timing, it’s most important that she brought it to Grant’s attention since hometowns are around the corner.

This was such a hard rose ceremony, even you looked like you needed a hug! How would you describe the mood in the room, and were you able to say goodbye to the women before they left the Dalmahoy hotel?
It was extremely emotional — and I was heartbroken for Alexe, Carolina, and Sarafiena. I, unfortunately, didn’t get to see the women immediately afterward, but it will be so great to potentially see them at Women Tell All!
The Bachelor airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
