January 15 will be a big day for Zombies fans as Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 developer Treyarch Studios confirms it will reveal details on the mode’s next map. There are currently three different maps for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies fans to play on, but with the latest entry having four years of development time, it looks like Treyarch has an abundance of Zombies content on the way as Season 2 will see the debut of a fourth map.
With Season 2 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 right around the corner, fans are eager to see some new content added to the game. Whether it’s Multiplayer, Zombies, or Warzone, Season 1 has been one of the longest seasons in Call of Duty history, so players of all modes are patiently waiting for Treyarch Studios to pull back the curtain on all of the new content coming to Black Ops 6 with the upcoming season. Although many were expecting to have to wait another week to get any details, it looks like Zombies fans don’t have long to go until some brand-new content is revealed.

Treyarch Confirms New Black Ops 6 Zombies Map to Be Revealed on January 15
In a new post on Twitter, Treyarch Studios shared good news for Call of Duty Zombies fans. The studio has now confirmed that it has “plenty to share with the Zombies community” on January 15, including details on the mode’s next map. Although players will need to wait until the official announcement on Wednesday to find out more, reliable leaker and industry insider TheGhostOfHope has revealed that Season 2 (which is currently scheduled for January 28) will see the launch of a new round-based Zombies map. With the last Zombies map arriving in Season 1 Reloaded, many expected the next map to be released in the mid-Season 2 update, but it looks like that might not be the case.
A lot is riding on Call of Duty: Black Ops 6‘s second season, but Multiplayer and Warzone fans will have to wait a little longer to find out what’s coming to the game later this month. While Multiplayer fans can likely expect to find an abundance of new maps, weapons, events, and more for Season 2, the rapid decline in Warzone players has fans begging for the developers to address the rampant hacking issue that is leading to the game’s demise.
The latest Warzone update caused even more problems for players earlier this week, as a new patch resulted in a variety of glitches appearing in Warzone‘s Ranked Play mode. From players glitching under the map to issues with Buy Stations, Warzone players were left furious after even more issues made their way into the game before the plethora of other bugs and glitches were addressed. While Season 2 will give players plenty of content to check out, Warzone players are just eager to see the Battle Royale title receive a myriad of bug fixes.

Forced to go rogue. Hunted from within. This is Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
Developed by Treyarch and Raven, Black Ops 6 is a spy action thriller set in the early 90s, a period of transition and upheaval in global politics, characterized by the end of the Cold War and the rise of the United States as a single superpower. With a mind-bending narrative, and unbound by the rules of engagement, this is signature Black Ops.
The Black Ops 6 Campaign provides dynamic moment-to-moment gameplay that includes a variety of play spaces with blockbuster set pieces and action-packed moments, high-stakes heists, and cloak-and-dagger spy activity.
In a best-in-class Multiplayer experience, players will test their skills across 16 new maps at launch, including 12 core 6v6 maps and 4 Strike maps that can be played 2v2 or 6v6.
Black Ops 6 also marks the epic return of Round-Based Zombies, the fan-favorite mode where players will take down hordes of the undead in two brand-new maps at launch. Post-launch, players can look forward to even more exciting maps and groundbreaking experiences dropping into both Multiplayer and Zombies.
