The Scottish Caravan, Motorhome & Holiday Home Show, scheduled for February 6-9, 2025, at the SEC Glasgow, has announced Border Caravans as its headline sponsor.

Border Caravans, a well-established company operating four award-winning holiday parks in the Scottish Borders, will also be unveiling an inaugural accessible lodge at the event in collaboration with Love Holiday Homes.

This show is recognized as Scotland’s premier outdoor living event, where industry professionals can explore the latest trends and products related to caravanning, motorhoming, and holiday homes.

For business owners in these sectors, the show provides a valuable platform to discover new innovations and connect with manufacturers, dealers, and potential customers.

The accessible lodge, designed with inclusivity in mind, is set to be a significant highlight. Its features include wider corridors and rooms, a ramped-access balcony, and sliding internal doors, designed to cater to a broader range of guests

Dale Gifford, company director of Border Caravans, emphasized that the lodge is more than a prototype, calling it a step toward the creation of more inclusive spaces within the outdoor hospitality industry.

He expressed excitement about the opportunity to present this lodge alongside Border Caravans’ first year as the show’s headline sponsor.

“We are thrilled to welcome Border Caravans as our headline sponsor. Not only are their products of outstanding quality, but their team is also constantly innovating to bring something fresh and exciting to our guests,” Jillyanne Glen, show manager, told Out & About Live.

Glen also highlighted the importance of promoting inclusivity and expressed hope that this initiative would inspire others in the industry to incorporate such features into their designs.

As more consumers and businesses seek accessible solutions, there is growing potential for companies that embrace these changes to gain competitive advantage in the caravan and holiday home sectors.

In addition to the accessible lodge, this year’s event will feature a climbing wall and a popular farmer’s market offering local produce.

These elements aim to enhance the experience for visitors and provide networking opportunities for business owners. The event will also showcase over 170 exhibitors, allowing attendees to compare products and explore new business opportunities.

With its focus on innovation and inclusivity, the 2025 Scottish Caravan, Motorhome & Holiday Home Show is poised to be an essential event for professionals in the outdoor hospitality industry.
