While he’s not been without his health struggles in recent years, action movie legend Bruce Willis has been making the best of his retirement. A rare new video of the actor has been posted online, revealing Willis and ex-wife Demi Moore dancing together on his 70th birthday.
The video was shared on Instagram by Rumer Willis, 36, one of Bruce and Demi’s daughters (alongside 33-year-old Scout and 31-year-old Tallulah). It was recorded and shared in honor of Bruce reaching his milestone 70th birthday, revealing how he was joined by loving family members to celebrate the special occasion. Rumer captioned the post with the message, “To the King…I love you Daddio. Happy 70th Birthday papa.” The post can be seen below.

In the video, Bruce Willis can be seen starting a countdown to begin a dance number with Demi Moore. The two, both of whom are both dressed in all black, are all smiles as they dance and laugh together. Willis also tells Moore at one point, “Come on, take it down the hall!” Others in the room can also be heard laughing and enjoying the fun moment, though it’s unclear who all was present for the occasion.
Another Instagram post was shared by Tallulah. Including a screenshot of Willis in Die Hard, the post reads, “happy 70th to my favorite friend! you are a light that can never be dimmed! I love you so proud to be your baby Tallulah Belle Bruce Willis.”
Scout also shared some images of her father along with a message reading, “Happy birthday to the Greatest of all time. Every day I thank the Gods that 50% of my DNA is from him. The music I make, the magic I create, and the magnetic mischief I incite, that’s my father’s legacy alive in the world.”
Willis and Moore were married in 1987, and after having three daughters together, the couple divorced in 2000. Following the divorce, however, the two remained good friends in addition to co-parents. Willis later remarried to Emma Heming in 2009, and she has been open about Moore and their shared children being there to offer support amid Willis’ increased health issues. With Emma, Willis had another two daughters, born in 2012 and 2014.

Bruce Willis Retired After an Aphasia Diagnosis
For decades, Willis had been serving as one of Hollywood’s most popular movie stars. While he was acting frequently, it was announced in 2022 that he was immediately retiring after he’d been diagnosed with aphasia, a neurological condition heavily affecting one’s ability to communicate. The following year, Willis’ family announced that his condition had progressed, resulting in a new diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia.
“Given the givens, he’s in a very stable place at the moment,” Moore said of how Willis was doing back in December, via CNN. “And I’ve shared this before, but I really mean this so sincerely: It’s so important for anybody who’s dealing with this to really meet them where they’re at.”
In addition to their real-life marriage, Willis and Moore also co-starred in three films: Mortal Thoughts, Beavis and Butt-Head Do America, and Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle.
