Campground Owners of New York (CONY) announced the launch of its first-ever Fire Up Forum, a virtual event set to take place on April 1.
The online gathering aims to equip campground owners, hospitality professionals, and industry leaders with insights and resources ahead of the 2025 season.
The event will offer expert-led discussions on workforce development, industry trends, and New York-specific updates.
Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with vendor members before the season begins, ensuring they are prepared for upcoming operational demands.
“Our Spring Zone Meetings have always been a valuable resource ahead of the upcoming camping season, and we want to continue to provide the necessary tools to set all of our members up for success,” Emily Simmons, president & CEO of CONY, said. “We listened to feedback and understand that sometimes attending in-person events just isn’t feasible, whether it’s due to scheduling conflicts, location, or even cost.”
“Offering a virtual event is a convenient way to reach more of our members with the information they need this spring and to connect them with vendors who offer the products and services necessary to prepare them for the season ahead,” Simmons noted.
The Fire Up Forum is designed to address key industry challenges, including workforce recruitment and retention strategies.
Participants will gain actionable insights into emerging developments in outdoor hospitality, helping them stay competitive in a changing market.
Attendees will also receive updates on regulations affecting New York’s campground industry. The forum will provide a space for industry stakeholders to discuss compliance requirements and explore new business opportunities.
“Fire Up Forum is designed to ignite new ideas, spark valuable connections, and fuel success for campground owners and professionals across New York,” said Ann Flach, marketing & Communications manager at CONY.
“We’re excited to provide our members a convenient, informative, and interactive event using a comprehensive software platform that offers more than just video calling capabilities, empowering campgrounds to start the season strong,” Flach added.
