Campspot announced the winners of the 2025 Campspot Awards, recognizing top campgrounds across the United States and Canada.

The annual awards highlight campgrounds offering exceptional outdoor experiences, from tranquil retreats to activity-filled family resorts.

Now in its fourth year, the program evaluates more than 3 million data points, including guest ratings, reservation trends, park features, and listing page quality on the Campspot Marketplace.

The winners represent a diverse range of camping experiences, demonstrating how the industry has evolved to accommodate different traveler preferences.

“The Campspot Awards aim to recognize those parks that are delivering outstanding guest experiences and embodying the spirit of modern camping,” said Erin Stender, CMO of Campspot.

“This year’s winners represent the variety and depth of camping in North America today. From peaceful retreats where you can disconnect to adrenaline-pumping destinations perfect for families, we’re thrilled to showcase parks that are truly exceptional,” Stender added.

Verde Ranch RV Resort in Camp Verde, Arizona, earned the title of the top campground in the United States, praised for its red rock landscapes, access to trails, and proximity to the Verde River.

In Canada, Tsawaak RV Resort in Tofino, British Columbia, secured the top spot, offering beachside camping and outdoor activities such as whale watching and kayaking.

Other category winners include Broad River Campground in Mooresboro, North Carolina, named the top glamping destination for its mix of natural beauty and upscale accommodations.

True West Campground Stables and Mercantile in Jamestown, Tennessee, was also recognized as the most unique campground, providing horse-friendly amenities and an old-west atmosphere.

The Cove Pub Campground in Inverness, Florida, was selected as the top hidden gem, known for its secluded setting and waterside camping. Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Golden Valley in Bostic, North Carolina, earned recognition as the top family campground, offering a range of activities such as water slides, laser tag, and themed events across 600 acres.

Additional award categories included Top RV Campgrounds, Top Tent Campgrounds, Top Campgrounds for a Quiet Getaway, Top Small Campgrounds, Top Midsize Campgrounds, and Top Large Campgrounds.

“The winners of the 2025 Campspot Awards each offer a distinct experience,” said Stender. “Whether it’s the unique desert landscapes of Ramble at Great Sand Dunes National Park, the peaceful riverside views and outdoor adventures at RiverWalk on the Yadkin, or the expansive amenities at River Sands RV Resort, there’s something here for everyone. It’s not just about the location—these parks create experiences that resonate with campers long after they’ve packed up.”

Campspot is also hosting a webinar titled “Winning Strategies: How Award-Winning Campgrounds Deliver Exceptional Guest Experiences” on April 10 at 2:00 p.m. Eastern. The event will feature insights from award-winning campground operators.
