The world’s largest sky lantern festival, RISE, returns to the Mojave Desert from October 3-5, 2025, marking its 10th anniversary with an unforgettable, transformative celebration. Every year, thousands make the journey to the desert just outside Las Vegas for an experience that is both deeply personal and profoundly communal. For one special night, the desert sky becomes a canvas of light, filled with thousands of floating lanterns—each carrying a unique story.

Unlike the typical festival filled with massive crowds and loud stages, RISE stands out—not for its spectacle, but for its soul. RISE isn’t about famous headliners or excess; it’s about elevation. At its heart lies a single, powerful moment: 20,000 hand-lit lanterns rising together, each symbolizing hope, remembrance, and dreams, all lifting into the night sky in perfect harmony. This isn’t just a festival to watch—it’s one to create. Attendees personalize their lanterns with reflections, aspirations, and tributes before releasing them into the vast desert sky. It’s one of the largest and most breathtaking community art projects in the world.

But RISE is more than just the lantern release. It’s an immersive, participatory experience. Curated music performances, large-scale interactive art installations, and peaceful lounges come together to create an environment that fosters connection, reflection, and joy. It’s a space to pause, be present, and share something meaningful. The artist lineup will be revealed in early May.
