From love to suffering and everything in between, Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc‘s new reveal teases an exhilarating sequel to the popular anime series.

As announced at AnimeJapan 2025, the Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc film will be released in theaters in Japan on Sept. 19, 2025. While no new trailer has yet been revealed, teaser trailers and posters with the release date will be distributed domestically from April 4. Alongside the release date, 12 new movie visuals were also released for the characters Chainsaw Man, Denji, Pochita, Makima, Aki, Power, Kobeni, Beam, the Violence Fiend, Angel Devil, Reze and Bomb Devil. Chainsaw Man Reveals Release Date & First-Look Character Images for Reze Arc Anime Movie

Chainsaw Man‘s new reveal was made with anime voice actors Kikunosuke Toya (Denji), Tomori Kusunoki (Makima) and Maaya Uchida (Angel Devil) in attendance, and follows Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc‘s stunning debut trailer at Jump Festa. Tatsuya Yoshihara, who most recently directed the popular Wistoria: Wand and Sword, was announced as Ryu Nakayama’s successor for the upcoming movie. The film also received visuals of Denji in his chainsaw form and one in a cozy setting with Reze, the focus of this arc. Crunchyroll streams Chainsaw Man Season 1, which adapts Tatsuki Fujimoto’s manga of the same name. Part 1 of the series ended in December 2020 before Part 2 kicked off in July 2022. The series is officially described: “Denji is a young boy who works as a Devil Hunter with the “Chainsaw Devil” Pochita. One day, as he was living his miserable life trying to pay off the debt he inherited from his parents, he got betrayed and killed. As he was losing his consciousness, he made a deal with Pochita, and got resurrected as the “Chainsaw Man”: the owner of the Devil’s heart.”
