Colony Glamping has launched a new eco-friendly luxury camping destination in the Czech Republic, offering modern amenities and an immersive natural experience.

The site, which opened in December 2024, is located about one hour from Prague, positioning it as an accessible getaway for both domestic and international travelers seeking a sustainable outdoor escape.

The new glamping site is designed to provide guests with a blend of comfort and nature. Dome-shaped tents offer spacious accommodations, equipped with plush beds, stylish furnishings, and private outdoor spa facilities, including a heated pool and sauna.

The layout ensures privacy, allowing guests to relax and enjoy scenic views of the surrounding landscape. The site also emphasizes sustainability, with eco-friendly materials and renewable energy sources at its core.

“Our vision is to redefine outdoor tourism by offering eco-friendly luxury,” said David Jehlicka, founder of Colony Glamping, to the Globe and Mail.

“We aim to provide our guests with an unforgettable experience that harmonizes comfort and sustainability. By connecting people with nature, we hope to inspire a deeper appreciation for the environment.”

The site is committed to preserving the natural environment through sustainable practices, such as rainwater harvesting systems and solar-powered amenities. Wood-fired hot tubs and natural wellness options are also available, further enhancing the eco-conscious experience.

In addition to the accommodations, Colony Glamping offers a variety of activities for guests. The surrounding area, rich in natural beauty, is perfect for hiking, cycling, and birdwatching.

The site is also near natural hot springs, lush forests, and medieval towns, allowing guests to explore the region‘s cultural heritage. Local festivals and cultural events offer further opportunities to engage with the area’s traditions.

Farm-to-table dining experiences are a highlight, with organic produce sourced from nearby farms.

Guided outdoor workshops and tours, focused on local flora and fauna, are available for those seeking a more in-depth connection to the environment.
