Bend Studio has confirmed the Days Gone Broken Road DLC has now been made available to wishlist on Steam for PC users. Accompanying Days Gone Remastered, which is scheduled to launch on April 25, 2025, for PlayStation 5 owners, the Broken Days DLC is the PC equivalent to the PlayStation remaster, which offers several new features and upgrades to give this beloved post-apocalyptic title a makeover in 2025.
Days Gone was first released in 2019 on the PlayStation 4, and the action-adventure later received a PC port in 2021. Set in a decayed Oregon two years after a virus turned humans into zombies, or Freakers, drifter Deacon St. John travels the state to find his wife, who was previously presumed dead. Days Gone Remastered pre-orders gained a strong start, entering the top 10 of the PS Store, and sold alee to the controversial whirlwind surrounding fans’ ongoing pursuit for a sequel.

Days Gone Remastered’s Release Date is Cutting it Close to Another Remastered PlayStation Release
The recently-revealed Days Gone Remastered isn’t far from release, but neither is another PlayStation PC title that’s awfully similar.
Announced in a blog post on Steam, Bend encouraged the gaming community to wishlist the Days Gone Broken Road DLC on the PC platform and outlined the new features to look forward to. Days Gone Remastered was announced back in February 2025, and the enhanced PlayStation 5 remaster and the PC DLC promise to deliver controller support for DualSense, enhanced photo mode, and a handful of new accessibility features, including High Contrast mode, and changes to game speed. Additionally, the DLC will add a new Horde Assault survival arcade mode, a Speedrun mode, and a Permadeath mode.
Days Gone Broken Days DLC Can Now Be Wishlisted on Steam
Days Gone fans were already unhappy with the remaster being digital only, but followers of the adventure game are also carping about the DLC’s lack of new content as they don’t think additional features like controller support or new modes should be marketed as such. Others disagree, saying new modes mean new content, and several fans admitted they were looking forward to trying the upcoming hardcore endeavor.
Days Gone Remastered is certainly paving the way for the forthcoming year of the undead in gaming, as there are several in-development zombie titles set to create a renaissance in 2025. In addition to Days Gone, Sony will also be releasing The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered’s PC port in April, just in time for the HBO show’s season 2 debut, and Dying Light: The Beast and John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando are also expected to receive 2025 release dates. Furthermore, State of Decay 3 is still in the pipeline, alongside a rumored Back 4 Blood sequel.
