Deafheaven have announced an extensive tour of North America. Check out all the dates and ticket information below.
The news follows the recent announcement of their upcoming new album ‘Lonely People With Power’. It’s the American post-metal band’s first release under their new label Roadrunner Records, and will be released on March 28. You can pre-order and pre-save the album here.
To celebrate the LP, which has been teased with the first, hardcore-inspired single ‘Magnolia’, they’ll be heading on tour later this year.
They’ll kick things off with a hometown show in Los Angeles, California on April 19, before playing shows across the US and Canada, with support from Gatecreeper and Trauma Ray.
Afterwards, the band are set to embark on a run of festival dates later this summer, including Outbreak Fest in the UK and Rock am Ring in Germany. Check out a full list of dates below and visit here to purchase tickets.

‘Lonely People With Power’ was recorded with producer Justin Meldal-Johnsen (St. Vincent, M83) and mixed by Zach Weeks of GodCity Studio. The record was tracked at EastWest Studios in Los Angeles, California and features additional vocal contributions from Boy Harsher’s Jae Matthews and Interpol‘s Paul Banks – the latter of which they served as opening support for during the Chicago date of their recent ‘Antics’ 20th-anniversary tour.
A press release has described ‘Lonely People With Power’ as the band’s “most ambitious release yet.”
The album follows their last album which was 2021’s ‘Infinite Granite‘. In a four-star review of the LP, NME shared: “These songs treat the band’s black metal fans to a few, short-lived angry screams, but on an album where shoegaze reigns supreme, they feel out of sync.
“It’s a bold move, five albums in, to choose a singular sonic path that could alienate half your fanbase – but then again, Deafheaven have always been a band known for extremes. The risk here pays dividends. It’s their most ambitious and cohesive album to date and embracing their shoegaze selves brings renewal: for a band known for torment and chaos, it’s a joy to hear them sounding so hopeful.”
