Delta SkyMiles members are about to have more options for inflight entertainment.

The airline announced Tuesday that it has a yet-to-be-finalized deal with  the sports and entertainment gaming company, DraftKings. Delta envisions that “eligible SkyMiles Members can access free gaming as an additional offering on Delta Sync Wi-Fi available through SkyMiles Members’ personal electronic devices.” The airline made sure to note that to avoid potential issues with local gambling laws, DraftKings access will not involve the use of actual money or miles. 

Delta stated in a release that it expects to finalize the deal this year.

The move is the latest in the airline’s DeltaSync program. Launched in 2023, the free high speed connectivity is now on over 330 aircraft in the fleet. It enables passengers to log in and personalize their flights and entertainment from flight to flight.

The move matches Delta’s ongoing partnership additions and rideshare changes. It has a planned partnership with YouTube, allowing connected, high speed, ad-free access through personal devices. And last month, Delta announced that it is ending its partnership with Lyft and shifting to Uber. This will allow passengers who have connected their Uber accounts to earn SkyMiles through Uber rides and UberEats. 

The company also rolled out its new Sky Club access rules to avoid congestion while insisting that newer perks were on the horizon for members of its rewards program.
