Everything We Know About Apple TV’s Your Friends and Neighbors

Apple TV has been producing some amazing content, and Your Friends and Neighbors looks like the next pop culture hit.

Berlin ER, also known as KRANK Berlin, is a German series that’s co-created by former emergency room physician turned screenwriter Samuel Jefferson alongside Viktor Jakovleski. The show stars Haley Louise Jones (Dear Child, Paradise) and Slavko Popadić (Crooks) in the lead roles, with other cast members including Şafak Şengül (Rabiye Kurnaz vs. George W. Bush), Aram Tafreshian (Dogs of Berlin), Samirah Breuer (The Gryphon), Bernhard Schütz (Barbarians), Peter Lohmeyer (I Don’t Work Here) and Benjamin Radjaipour (No Hard Feelings).

Berlin ER Will Debut Episode 5 on March 19

The official synopsis for the series reads, “In Berlin ER, managing a chaotic emergency room in the toughest and most overcrowded hospital in Berlin is no small task for the young Dr. Parker (Jones), who is seeking a fresh start in the big city after her private life implodes in Munich. When she tries to implement necessary reforms, Parker is confronted with resistance from the underpaid, ill-equipped and chronically fatigued hospital staff who only survive with an indispensable dose of black humor. But in the face of an increasingly merciless healthcare system, the battered team must put aside their differences and pull together to save lives.”

Jeff Daniels Joins the Cast of 1 of Apple TV+’s Most Popular Shows

Jeff Daniels’ next big TV role has been revealed.

“I always felt like she’s a woman on the run,” Jones said of her role in the series, via Show Snob. “She’s just running from life, in a way, from parts of herself. She just left Munich, basically just made a clean cut and left her old life in a very short amount of time.”

She added, “She hopes that it’s going to help her deal with everything and find balance again in life, and it ends up not working at all. Life has a way of catching up with you, and she basically ends up running back into herself and the issues she was trying to get away from. It’s actually good, because she ends up facing them and comes out on the other side.”

Berlin ER is streaming on Apple TV+. The series consists of eight episodes, and after its premiere on Feb. 26, the finale is set to debut on the streaming platform on April 9. New episodes are released every Wednesday until then.
