Since the premiere of DAIMA, Dragon Ball fans have been able to enjoy new content every week. Sadly, this won’t be the case soon, as the anime is entering its endgame with its fifteenth episode, “Third Eye.” But, before things draw to a close, it seems like the rest of the series will be filled with nothing but the kinds of climactic fights viewers have been waiting for.

Dragon Ball DAIMA Episode 15 is the beginning of the end for the anime, and no fan will want to miss its release. At the end of Episode 14, “Taboo,” Goku and the rest of the Dragon Team finally arrived in the First Demon World, only to be swiftly assaulted by Gomah’s army. The machinations of Gomah, Arinsu, and seemingly even Dabura are about to collide, and everyone is going to want to watch “Third Eye” before spoilers start coming out.

Goku and Friends Are About to Face the Gendarmerie Force and the Evil Third Eye

Following the fun diversion of Episode 13, Episode 14 of Dragon Ball DAIMA, “Taboo,” primarily centered around two storylines. In the A-Plot, Goku and his large group of allies sought to find a way to reach the First Demon World, in spite of Degesu having disabled Warp-sama. The B-Plot, meanwhile, introduced Gomah’s strongest soldiers, the Gendarmerie Force, and highlighted their comedic, incompetent nature. While Goku wound up taking the most damage he has in the entire anime by touching the shield between the Demon Worlds with his Power Pole, Neva was able to mystically remove the barrier, with it being revealed that he was responsible for creating it in the first place. As this happened, the Gendarmerie Force prepared for Goku’s arrival, and met Majin Kuu and Majin Duu, while Arinsu took pride in how her masterplan was all coming together. The episode concluded with the Dragon Team in the First Demon World doing battle against an army of Gendarmerie, completely unaware of how many enemies they had besides just Gomah and Degesu.

The teaser for Episode 15 of Dragon Ball DAIMA gives fans a lot to look forward to. The first several shots show Gendarmerie planes firing at Goku, Glorio, Panzy, and Nahare, with the former deflecting an energy blast, and the latter sitting on the ground, while the two Demon Realm residents aim their blasters. Piccolo and Vegeta are then shown getting in on the action, fighting and firing ki blasts. Attention then returns to Goku, who fires a ki blast of his own, before things take a massive swerve. The final shot of the teaser shows Dabura, the Supreme King of the Demon Realm before his untimely death in Dragon Ball Z, holding a gold key with a red eye on it.

Dragon Ball DAIMA Has Finally Entered the Anime’s Endgame – & It’s Way Too Soon

Dragon Ball DAIMA is ending at Episode 20, and wasting all its potential by doing so.

Dabura having a significant role in DAIMA has been teased since Episode 3, “Daima,” and he’s been appearing in the opening sequence every week alongside his dead father, Abura. It’s unclear if the former Supreme Demon King will be returning to life, or if this is just a flashback but, either way, his presence should be welcome for all DBZ fans, and promises to add a new layer of intrigue to the proceedings. Based on the eye inside it, the key in Dabura’s hand is possibly the long-teased Evil Third Eye, which Episode 15 is named after, and which Gomah has said to grant incredible power. This would contradict the fan theory that the strange eyeball on Hybis’ belt is the Evil Third Eye.

Strangely absent from the teaser are Arinsu, the Majin Brothers, and the Gendarmerie Force. Arinsu has the First Demon World’s Dragon Ball in her possession, and Glorio in position to steal the other Dragon Balls from Goku, while her servants, Kuu and Duu, are currently the strongest force in the Demon Realm not aligned with the Dragon Team. While there isn’t too much hype around the Gendarmerie Force, it’s still odd to see them absent, as they were just introduced.

As is often the case with Dragon Ball DAIMA, there may be a small delay between the time the episode is posted, and when it becomes visible on Crunchyroll’s website. No one should be alarmed if it isn’t viewable exactly when it’s supposed to be, and anyone who does run into issues should simply refresh the page. Importantly, Crunchyroll will only be releasing the subbed version of Episode 15. The English dub of Dragon Ball DAIMA has only just begun, with so far only the first episode release, and it will be following a weekly release schedule.

Dragon Ball DAIMA has, so far, offered a lot in the way of build-up, without much payoff. There may not be much of the anime left, with only six episodes left in its run, but the teaser for Episode 15 gives the impression that it will be making the most of them. “Third Eye” is going to be a blast, and every Dragon Ball fan should be prepared to watch it as soon as it premieres.
