Signature Park Homes Ltd has received approval to transform a former traveler site in Bonnybridge into a multi-million-pound rural enterprise and glamping destination. 

Falkirk Council’s planning officers granted permission for the project, which includes holiday accommodations, business facilities, and educational spaces, following an application first submitted in February 2023 and validated in March 2024.

The approved plans detail a £5.5 million investment over five years to develop 11 glamping pods, 38-holiday chalets, and a forestry path, along with infrastructure aimed at supporting business and educational activities. 

A courtyard studio building will provide space for creative enterprises, while an education facility will offer rural interpretative resources and classroom-style accommodations. 

The project is expected to generate up to 30 new jobs and contribute an estimated £1.2 million annually in visitor spending, according to the report by The Falkirk Herald.
