Field & Stream Lodge Co., an extension of the longstanding Field & Stream brand, has announced the launch of its first property, Field & Stream Bozeman.
The lodge, designed as a year-round basecamp for outdoor recreation, is now accepting reservations for stays beginning in May 2025.
Situated one mile from downtown Bozeman, Montana, the property offers access to a range of outdoor destinations, including Bridger Bowl, Big Sky Resort, Yellowstone National Park, and several well-known rivers popular for fly fishing.
Designed to merge traditional hunting and fishing lodge aesthetics with modern hospitality amenities, the lodge features 179 guest rooms and suites tailored to a variety of travelers, from solo explorers to larger groups.
“Field & Stream Bozeman is designed to be the ultimate launchpad for outdoor adventure, combining the heritage of the Field & Stream brand with modern comfort and convenience,” the company stated in a report by Hospitality Net.
The property integrates design elements inspired by Field & Stream’s archives, incorporating vintage furnishings, custom upholstery, and décor that reflects Bozeman’s history.
A central gathering space, known as The Great Room, features a large stone fireplace, communal seating, and local artifacts, reinforcing the lodge’s rustic theme.
Guests have access to an indoor pool, an outdoor hot tub, and a 29,000-square-foot courtyard designed with fire pits and log seating.
The lodge also includes a retail-focused Supply Shop providing outdoor essentials and souvenirs.
With 3,800 square feet of private meeting space and options for full-property buyouts, the property is positioned to serve not only leisure travelers but also corporate retreats and group events.
Industry professionals in outdoor hospitality may find the project’s approach to branding and design noteworthy, as it leverages the longstanding reputation of Field & Stream to attract guests seeking authenticity alongside modern accommodations.
The development signals a broader trend of established outdoor brands expanding into the hospitality sector, presenting potential opportunities for collaboration or inspiration for businesses looking to enhance their offerings.
“We are excited to bring the Field & Stream experience to Bozeman and create a destination that speaks to both outdoor enthusiasts and those looking for a comfortable stay in an adventure-rich location,” the company added.
As the demand for experiential stays continues to grow, the launch of Field & Stream Bozeman underscores a strategic move by heritage brands into the hospitality space.
The property’s focus on blending nostalgia with contemporary amenities could set a precedent for similar ventures aiming to appeal to both traditional outdoor enthusiasts and a new generation of travelers.
