Forgotten Temple Walkthrough (Soulstone Locations)

As soon as the mission starts, head straight and interact with the Corner Leading to the Abandoned Plains (Blade Nexus). You will reach a split and can head right to encounter a few enemies along with the Vitality Tome. Head back to the split and take the left path this time, being mindful of the undead archer above.

Follow this path, dealing with any undead enemies you encounter, and stop when you reach another split. The path on the right leads to the temple entrance, but first, break the wooden barricades on the left to find your first Soulstone. Head up the stairs, where you will have your first encounter with the Dragonkin in The First Berserker: Khazan. Deal with the ones worshipping the remains of another Dragonkin.

Before heading up the stairs, go right and deal with the two enemies. In the far corner, you will find the second Soulstone. Head up the stairs, and to the far right, there will be an open gate leading to the Bard, a merchant selling a variety of potions.

After buying what you need, turn around, and to the left, there is a small walkway with the Netherworld Energy Upgrade for you to pick up. Drop down, head up the stairs again, and go straight up another set of stairs. You will encounter a few archers and a Lunatic Destroyer ahead, after which you will reach the boss gate, which is locked for now. Head left and immediately turn right to find two archers standing near a lever that opens one half of the gate. Follow the main path now and enjoy a long elevator ride.

Interact with the Beneath the Forgotten Temple (Blade Nexus) and talk to Daphrona, who has a few dialogue options and allows you to unleash the Soulstones. These grant either a Health Recovery increase or a Lacrima increase, depending on your choice. Once you are done with Daphrona, head back to the main path, where a Double-Edge Butcher will be waiting for you. Deal with it, and head up the stairs on your left to find interactable statues.

How to Stop the Forgotten Temple’s Spinning Mechanism In The First Berserker: Khazan

Deal with the dragonkin and interact with the statues, adjusting them so they all face the same direction as the other statues in their line. This will raise the platform, allowing you to drop down, use the ladder to climb up, and interact with the machines to stop the first part of the spinning device. Head down the ladder, go straight, then turn right to find the Depths of the Forgotten Temple (Blade Nexus). Upgrade your stats if you have the necessary Lacrima, then head up the stairs. Follow the main path, and you will reach an area filled with dragonkin. Deal with them and loot any items you find before proceeding up the stairs.

Here, you will encounter your first Elite Enemy in the game, who is considerably stronger than any other foes you have faced so far.

After dealing with the Elite Enemy, move the statues so they face the ones on the wall. This will raise the platform and lower the wall statues, revealing a Soulstone. Destroy it using your Javelin, then head left to interact with another machine, stopping the second part of the spinning device. Head down the stairs, turn right, and go left to spot the stairs leading down. You will encounter a few undead enemies that you can easily run past to reach a ladder at the very end. Follow the main path to reach the final machine, which stops the third part of the spinning device, shutting it down completely.

Head to the elevator, where you will fight a Revenant of Adversity that drops Lacrima of Circulation, which you can use to summon Spirit of Advocacy to fight alongside you in boss battles. Take the elevator up and pull the lever to open the gate leading to the boss arena. Rest at the Heart of the Forgotten Temple (Blade Nexus) before taking on the boss of Mission 3.
