Gabriela C. Olson is the acting director for the California Regional Office of Equal Opportunity at NASA’s Armstrong Flight Research Center in Edwards, California, and Ames Research Center in California’s Silicon Valley. She is responsible for the centers’ equal opportunity processes in support of NASA programs, projects, and research activities.

Since joining NASA Armstrong in 2005, Olson has held several positions, including administrative assistant for the center’s Test Systems directorate from 2005 to 2007; Human Resources specialist from 2007 to 2010; Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) specialist from 2010 to 2021; and lead EEO specialist from 2022 to February 2025.

Olson earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology in 2003 from Alaska Pacific University in Anchorage and a Master of Arts in human resources management in 2005 from Webster University in Edwards, California.
