A Genshin Impact chart has revealed the sales difference between the two currently featured limited five-star characters, Arlecchino and Clorinde. Both characters arrived as part of the second banner phase of the ongoing Genshin Impact Version 5.4.

Every new version of the game includes two separate banner cycles, each featuring at least two five-star and three four-star units. The first part of Genshin Impact Version 5.4 introduced two new Natlan characters: the long-awaited Pyro Archon Mavuika and the famous fortune teller Citlali. The second part of this update featured the Lantern Rite Festival, an annual event that celebrates the Lunar New Year.

According to the data presented on the site, Arlecchino is responsible for around 75% of the total revenue from this Genshin Impact double banner. This does not come as a huge surprise, considering that Arlecchino is probably the most popular Fontaine character alongside the Hydro Archon Furina and Neuvillette. As a member of the infamous Fatui Harbingers, Arlecchino played the role of the main villain in Fontaine’s Archon Quest, which is widely regarded as one of the best story arcs in Genshin Impact.

Genshin Impact: How Strong Are Arlecchino and Clorinde?

Regarding Arlecchino’s power on the field, she is one of the best Pyro DPS units in Genshin Impact. With her release back in Version 4.6, the game introduced the unique Bond of Life mechanic, which is currently exclusive to only a few Fontaine characters. Another reason behind Arlecchino’s banner sales success is the fact that, despite being released in April 2024, this is her first re-run. This character, also known as the Knave, has yet to show her true potential, suggesting that her involvement in the main storyline is far from over.

Arlecchino’s banner colleague, Clorinde, also known as the Champion Duelist, is another Bond of Life user and remains a strong DPS choice. However, the primary factor holding Clorinde back compared to other top-tier DPS units is the current state of Electro characters in Genshin Impact. Clorinde’s go-to team composition is Aggravate, which means players should pair her with a strong Dendro applicator such as the Dendro Archon Nahida.

Players who want to add Arlecchino or Clorinde to their roster still have a few days left, as the current banner is scheduled to expire around February 12. HoYoverse has already confirmed that the next Genshin Impact banner will feature the new five-star Anemo user, Mizuki, and Fontaine’s Sigewinne.
