These include squeaky toys, teaser wands and even catnip, all of which are certain to make puppies and kitties fall in love with Hello Kitty. New PetSmart Release Adds Sanrio’s Hello Kitty and Friends to Furry Playtime
For the new PetSmart Hello Kitty and Friends Collection, Sanrio went all in to provide several items certain to make pets of all shapes and sizes happy (so long as they’re of the furry variety). These include several squeaker toys, all of which are shaped like the heads of Sanrio mascots, such as Hello Kitty, My Melody and Keroppi. There are also small plush toys based on some of these characters and other Sanrio friends, like Pochacco, with the main gang (Hello Kitty, My Melody, Kuromi, Keroppi, Pochacco, Pompompurin and Cinnamoroll) all present in some way. The series has an even mix of dog toys and cat toys, with the latter animals having swatters and catnip toys based on fellow feline Hello Kitty herself. This might be an awkward mix if the products themselves weren’t so adorable.
These pet items are all fairly affordable, with the lowest coming in at $5.99, while the most expensive products are $16.99. They can be ordered and shipped to customers’ houses or picked up in-store, with these Sanrio pet products being perfect for any playful pooch or kittenish kitty. Sanrio has had several collaborations for its iconic characters in the past, with stores such as Build-a-Bear being frequent spots for these items. The brand also collaborated with PetSmart in 2024 for a collection of matching cat harnesses, collars and leashes.
