With Honkai: Star Rail’s third season well under way, HoYoverse still has a few loose ends in Amphoreus that have yet to be tied up. In addition to unresolved character additions, leaks from prominent members of the Honkai: Star Rail community suggest that Amphoreus will definitely receive more content in the future. Only three playable characters have received full reveals and confirmed release dates, with four members of the Chrysos Heirs still completely in the dark.
Of the twelve Chrysos Heirs, Aglaea, Mydei, and Tribbie, are the only ones that have been fully revealed. Aglaea was added in Version 3.0 and Mydei and Tribbie have been confirmed for Version 3.1. Additionally, though the Chrysos Heirs will all supposedly be playable, Castorice was initially released as an NPC in Version 3.0. Her status has since changed to an upcoming playable character. Nevertheless, players still have more information about some Amphoreus characters outside these four, over others.

Known Chrysos Heirs
Anaxa
Anaxa has officially been listed as an upcoming character for Honkai: Star Rail, with many players speculating that he will join the game in Version 3.2. Castorice is also expected to be upgraded from an NPC to a playable character in this update, fulfilling the pattern of two playable Amphoreus characters per version as started with Mydei and Tribbie with Version 3.1. Anaxagoras the Foolish was initially rumored to be a 5-Star Ice type on the Path of Nihility, but has since been revealed to be a 5-star Wind type on the Path of Erudition. As a scholar, the Path of Erudition makes perfect sense for him.
Hyacine
Hyacine is one of three other Chrysos Heirs that were showcased by Honkai: Star Rail in the initial Golden Epic, “Amphoreus’ Saga of Heroes” trailer. HoYoverse has yet to announce further details about her, but prominent leaker Uncle Hellgirl alleges that Hyacine will follow the Path of Remembrance. This Path is surprising as the leaker continues to allege that she will be classified as a healer, a role that is typically reserved for Honkai: Star Rail characters on the Path of Abundance.
Cipher & Phainon
Leaks have also been abundant for Cipher and Phainon, the last remaining undiscussed characters from the initial Golden Epic trailer. Cipher, also referred to as Cifera the Fleet-Footed, will allegedly act as a DPS unit on Star Rail’s roster. Supposedly, her gift heavily centers on boosting her own damage, but another leaker claims that Cipher will not be a DoT-focused unit. Instead, these skills may go to another Chrysos Heir. Less information has been released about Phainon, though he will allegedly be a Physical Destruction character able to take multiple actions in a turn.
Unannounced and Unexpected Amphoreus Characters
During the initial Golden Epic trailer, four remaining Chrysos Heirs remained shrouded in darkness. Fortunately for Honkai: Star Rail players, two of these characters seem to have been leaked.
Hysilens
Hysilens is allegedly the name of the female Chyrsos Heir depicted rising from the sea in the Golden Epic trailer. Sketches of her full design have been shown off on sites like Reddit, though many players have questioned if these leaked sketches are accurate. Many have compared this specific alleged design to Seele. Hysilens is also the character that will allegedly be more DoT-focused, taking those previously alleged aspects of Cipher’s kit.
Oronyx
Prominent leaker Seele Leaks has revealed another unannounced Amphoreous character, alleging that their Divine Authority is “Oronyx, Veil of Evernight.” Oronyx will allegedly have the Coreflame of Time and has a similar appearance to March 7th. If true, Oronyx could expand on March 7th’s mysterious backstory, with many players already speculating that Oronyx may very well be a dark version of March 7th.
Cyrene
Lastly, details about one of Amphoreus’s key players, Cyrene, have slowly been uncovered. The Golden Epic trailer firmly distinguished Cyrene from the Chrysos Heirs. This distinction led many players to believe that Cyrene would be an NPC. However, leaks allege that Cyrene will be the sole 5-star banner character in Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.7, supposedly releasing around December. Alongside this, these leaks suggest that she will be an Ice-type on the Path of Remembrance. This is a vast change from previous assumptions about the character, but this change makes sense considering that Cyrene’s design has been compared by fans to Elysia from Honkai Impact 3rd.
With 3.7 so far out, there is a high chance that Cyrene could be the last Amphoreus character to join. Nevertheless, there’s a long list of characters that will join Honkai: Star Rail in 2025.
