Relaxation, a change of scenery, pampering at a plush hotel, and dining at excellent restaurants are elements of a memorable vacation. But like all good things, vacations must come to an end. After an especially refreshing getaway at the Westin Rancho Mirage Golf Resort & Spa, I decided to take at least part of my vacation home with me—the bed where I enjoyed three glorious nights of sleep. No, I didn’t make off with the mattress or duvet, but I did order my own Westin Heavenly Bed. 

I learned that the Heavenly Bed was developed in partnership with sleep experts, incorporating the latest in sleep science. With the recent emphasis on quality sleep as an important facet of overall health, I felt it was a timely investment as well as an upgrade to my bedroom. I went for the bedding set along with the mattress for my platform bed, and the lightweight blanket, duvet, pillows, and sateen linens look great, modernizing the look of the bedroom.

I experienced the Move Well aspect on a trip to The Westin Brisbane a few years back when I traveled halfway around the world to run (jog in my case) in a 5K along with journalists from the U.S., China, and Europe. Westin also encourages participation in marathons, creating experiences around the races for runners and their supporters.
