As one of the “big four” WWE premium live events next to WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and The Royal Rumble, the Survivor Series is one of the most exciting events of the year. With the incorporation of WCW’s original War Games match taking center stage, the classic elimination-style Survivor Series match isn’t among the match types in WWE 2K25.
The traditional Survivor Series match is a four-on-four tag team competition where every member of the teams must be pinned, submitted, counted out, or disqualified individually before a winner is declared. Thanks to the customization features available in the game, you can create and name your own Survivor Series tag team elimination and save it as a permanent feature in WWE 2K25.

Creating A Survivor Series Match In WWE 2K25
To establish the classic Survivor Series as a permanent match type in WWE 2K25, you must use the game’s custom creation tools. Use the following steps to create and save your own Survivor Series match:
- On the home screen, press the R1/RB button for the Creations menu.
- Select Custom Matches.
- Select New.
- Then select Tag Team.
- Highlight and select Four On Four.
- For Pin or Submission, select Both. Leave 2 Out Of 3 Falls, Iron Man, and K.O.
- Click Accept.
- Switch DQ On.
- Keep Rope Break On
- Choose your preference for Ring Out to 10 or 20.
- The most important option is Elimination, so switch this On.
- You set the number of finishers to start the match with, and determine whether your health is low, medium, or high and press Accept.
- Select your weapons, but be aware you have DQ switched on.
You can create a No DQ and no count-out version of the Survivor Series match and save it to your custom match types.
- Name your match type Survivor Series.
Selecting The Match In Exhibition Mode
You create a match with your new Survivor Series match type in exhibition mode. Use the following steps:
- Select Play in the Home screen.
- Scroll down to the bottom and select Custom Matches.
- Then select the Survivor Series from the list of custom matches you saved.
- Select the Play option and pick your WWE Superstar teams for the match-up.
That’s everything required to set up your new Survivor Series to use in exhibitions and Universe modes in WWE 2K25.
