InZOI entered its Early Access period in March 2025, giving players a new life simulator to enjoy. Create Zois, edit cities, and explore the world while enjoying realistic gameplay, focusing on the highs and lows of life. While somewhat restricted, InZOI has family gameplay, including having a baby and more.
Newborns have the shortest lifespan in InZOI and have a limited number of interactions. However, Zois can socialize and observe their adorable babies to get to know them, which will help them develop better as they age. So, for those wanting to expand their households, here’s how to have and care for a baby in InZOI.

How to Have a Baby in InZOI

In the Creative Studio, players can create child, teen, and adult Zois, but three other life stages are available through gameplay. Newborn, toddler, and adolescent are additional Zois life stages that they naturally grow into. Zois must have a baby if players want to play as newborns or toddlers.
The only way to have a baby in InZOI is with married male and female Zois. There isn’t an adoption system, and unmarried Zois will not get the option to have a baby together. Players must interact romantically with a Zoi of the opposite gender and get married to have a baby.
Once their romantic relationship is high enough, the option to propose will appear, and players can have a wedding event. Alternatively, players can create two Zoi’s in the Creative Studio and set their relationship to Husband/Wife to speed up the process.
Then, have one of the married Zois talk to their spouse and use the social interaction “Suggest Having a Baby.” If both Zois agree, they will go to a bedroom and try for a baby. Players can click on the female Zoi and take a Pregnancy Test when the deed is done. If successful, a pop-up appears explaining pregnancy and birth in InZOI. If not, they can try again until their Zoi is pregnant.
Households with eight Zoi’s will be unable to get pregnant due to household limits.
How to Give Birth in InZOI

Pregnancies last for three in-game days. Players can’t track the pregnancy, but Zois will start growing a belly as it progresses. Players can build and decorate a nursery to prepare for their bundle of joy. A red exclamation mark appears over the pregnant Zoi’s head whenever it is time to give birth. Click on it and choose “Give Birth.” Birth is relatively straightforward, and Zois will automatically go to the hospital, triggering a loading screen.
Whenever players return to their lot, the newborn spawns in a random room inside a crib. A pop-up appears with the child’s gender and a place to choose their first and last names. Newborns have a randomized trait, but Values and Desired Lives aren’t available at this stage.

How to Care for Babies in InZOI

In InZOI, newborns can’t be held or physically interacted with much. They are locked to their cribs, but Zois can talk to them and show affection in other ways. Hover over a newborn to see the available social options.
The newborn stage lasts a day, and while players can’t extend their age by days, they can make days longer if they want more time with their newborns.
After a day passes, newborns automatically age into toddlers. Because their needs decrease faster, toddlers are more hands-on than newborns; players must feed, clean, and care for them. Older Zois can also teach them to take their first steps and talk.
Toddlers have four sets of skills:
- Emotional
- Language
- Cognitive
- Physical
Zois are toddlers for two days before they age into children. Toddlers with high skills get a head start with their skills as children, so make sure to work on things consistently.
