Here’s how and when you can start the Animal Festival in Fields of Mistria and what you can do on the day of the event.

You might also wonder where to find The Deep Woods and what things you can discover there once unlocked, including unique Deep Woods forageable items and fish. Unlocking The Deep Woods also opens the door to teleportation, enabling you to teleport straight to this part of the map.

Where To Find The Deep Woods In Fields Of Mistria

You can find the Deep Woods on the far right of the Eastern Roads on Fields of Mistria‘s map. Head right from the middle of town and past the Carpenter’s Shop to find the entrance to the Deep Woods at the top of the Eastern Road, which is blocked by a wall of vines, as pictured above. However, there are a few steps to complete before you can gain a unique ability to access The Deep Woods and other blocked areas of the map.

How To Unlock The Deep Woods In Fields Of Mistria

To unlock The Deep Woods in Fields of Mistria, you must first break the Fire Seal in the Mines to gain the Dragon Breath Spell. This involves completing the following story quests once you reach level 60 in the Mines:

  • The Fire Tablet
  • Breaking the Fire Seal
  • Procuring the Sealing Scroll

To complete the above quests, you also need to gather numerous resources to unlock the Fire Seal to get the powerful Dragon Breath Spell, which deals damage to enemies and unlocks specific, blocked areas of the map. After breaking the Fire Seal, head to The Deep Woods located north of the Eastern Road to the wall of vines blocking the way ahead. After assigning the Spell from your inventory, you can use the Dragon Breath Spell to destroy the vines and clear a path to The Deep Woods map area, as shown in the video below:

In addition to several mysterious dragon statues and grave markers, you’ll also find Caldarus’ Temple on the top right of The Deep Woods map area. However, you’ll need at least a copper axe upgrade to break the large tree stump blocking the path to reach this part of The Deep Woods. You can get a copper axe by crafting one at the smithing station using copper ore or buying one from the Blacksmith shop for 1,000 Tesserae. Breaking large tree stumps gives you Hard Wood for crafting, worth 15 Tesserae each.
