According to the official schedule, class 10th examinations under regular and State Open School (SOS) will be conducted from March 4, 2025, to March 24, 2025. The class 12th examinations will run from March 4, 202,5 to March 29, 2025.
HPBOSE 10th, 12th Exam 2025 Date: Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has released the final date sheet for class 10th and class 12th board examinations. According to the official schedule, class 10th examinations under regular and State Open School (SOS) will be conducted from March 4, 2025, to March 24, 2025. The class 12th examinations will run from March 4, 202,5 to March 29, 2025. The exams for both classes will be held in a single shift, which will start at 8:45 am and end at noon. Visit the official website of HPBOSE, hpbose.org.
Click on the “Exam” tab available on the website.
Select the “Date Sheet” option in the dropdown menu.
Click on the timetable link for class 10th or class 12th.
View the exam schedule and download it.
To pass the HP board 10th and 12th exams, students need to secure at least 33 per cent marks overall as well as in each subject. This means they have to get a grade of D at least.
In the 2024 board exams, a total of 74 per cent of the 90,130 students who took the class 10 exams passed. Riddhima Sharma, a student of a government school in Nadaun, Hamirpur secured the first position.
On the other hand, around 85,000 students took the HP board 12th exams 2024 out of which 73.76 per cent passed. There were a total of 41 students in the top 10 merit list of Himachal Pradesh Board 12th. Of these, 30 were girls and 11 were boys. Kamakshi Sharma and Chhaya Chauhan jointly topped the Himachal Pradesh Board 12th examination this year. Five students were included in the top 3 in this year’s Himachal Pradesh Board 12th result. Of these, four were girls and one boy. While 31 children on the merit list are from private schools, 10 were from government schools.
