By 2023, the number of Chinese tourists rebounded to 787,924, and the positive trend continued into 2024, with 1,198,582 Chinese visitors, signaling a steady resurgence. This growth marks a hopeful return for Indonesia’s tourism sector as it strives to regain its position as a leading destination in Southeast Asia.
