Jason Momoa has many exciting roles coming up. With A Minecraft Movie hitting theaters on Apr. 4, the actor has scored several new roles, including Lobo in the upcoming Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, and a return to a fan-favorite character.
In a new appearance on the Today show, Momoa confirmed he would be returning in 2026’s Dune: Messiah. The actor played Duncan Idaho in Denis Villeneuve’s Dune. However, he was killed in the first film, and didn’t reprise his role in 2024’s Dune: Part Two. That is about to change, and Momoa doesn’t think that his reveal is a spoiler, highlighting that’s what happens in the 1969 novel Dune Messiah.
“I’m making a comeback,” Momoa confirmed in the interview to promote A Minecraft Movie. “You heard it first, right here with you, baby.“
