It was a big evening for Jennie—the singer was out at Billboard’s Women in Music event and collecting her Global Force Award. So of course, she had to pull out her best beauty trick–the simple swipe of red lipstick.

The singer walked the—powder blue, not red—carpet for the evening’s affairs, wearing a strapless, sweetheart-necklined, form-fitting dress by Zuhair Murad in a fiery red tone with small crystal bead adornments. She also wore chunky platform black heels, but kept the rest of her accessories minimal—sans bag (where did she hide her lippie for touch-ups?), but with a gold chain pendant necklace and select chunky gold rings. Ever the lover of an ornate set, her nails were an elevated, gilded twist on a French manicure, with thick gold textured bands on the tips. Her long black hair was worn loose, straight, and sleek.

The rest of Jennie’s glam was kept minimal too—her signature glass skin with a hint of rosy blush to be more of an all-over flush, and a swipe of black eyeliner. The red lipstick was applied with a similarly toned lipliner to provide serious precision across her dramatic cupid’s bow. Lots of big smiles and laughs on the carpet showed the expert lip at work.
