Jennifer Lopez and George Clooney are back in sight.

The Marry Me actress reunited with her Out of Sight costar at the opening of his new Broadway play Good Night, and Good Luck on Thursday night. The two actors posed together for a photo at the premiere’s afterparty at the New York Public Library.

Out of Sight saw Clooney play a bank robber who escapes from prison to execute a diamond heist, all while pursued by Lopez’s relentless U.S. Marshal. Releasing just a year after Selena and Batman & Robin, the 1998 film helped solidify both actors as A-list movie stars, and marked Clooney’s first collaboration with director Steven Soderbergh, who also directed him in Solaris and the Ocean’s Eleven trilogy.

Clooney was also spotted at the afterparty with this former ER costars Julianna Margulies, Anthony Edwards and Noah Wyle.

The production of Good Night, and Good Luck marks Clooney’s Broadway debut. The Michael Clayton actor plays CBS journalist Edward R. Murrow in a dramatization of the broadcaster’s conflict with Senator Joseph McCarthy. Clooney co-wrote the play with Grant Heslov as an adaptation of the 2005 film of the same title, which Clooney directed and co-wrote. Clooney also acted in the film, which earned six Oscar nominations, but played producer Fred W. Friendly opposite David Strathairn’s Morrow.

EW’s Dalton Ross opined that Good Night, and Good Luck “is, in essence, a pretty much verbatim retelling of the film, which is both a strength and a weakness” in his review of the play. “Clooney acquits himself well, delivering the anchor’s steely yet dispassionate ‘just the facts, ma’am’ demeanor with defiant restraint,” he wrote, noting that the production tucks Clooney”into a corner of the set looking away from the seats and to a camera, which then transmits the image to a giant screen in the middle of the stage” during Morrow’s broadcasts.

Lopez will next star in the movie musical Kiss of the Spider Woman, which premiered at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival and is expected to hit theaters this fall. The film also stars Diego Luna and Tonatiuh, and is an adaptation of the 1992 stage musical of the same name. The musical itself is an adaptation of Manuel Puig’s 1976 novel, which was previously adapted into a non-musical film in 1985 that earned William Hurt an Oscar.

Good Night, and Good Luck runs on Broadway through June 8.
