The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will commence the registration process for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) on January 23, 2025. The board has also released the full exam syllabus for all subjects — physics, chemistry, biology, and mathematics. According to the official schedule, the exam will be held on April 16 and 17 in two shifts — from 10:30 AM to 11:50 PM and from 2:30 PM to 3:50 PM.

Candidates who are willing to pursue engineering can register for KCET 2025 by visiting the official website of the Karnataka Examinations Authority at kea.kar.nic.in, once the link is activated. The last date to register is February 21. The exam will be held in pen and paper mode. The KCET Kannada language exam will be held on April 18, 2025, at Bengaluru, Bellary, Bidar, Belgaum, Vijayapur, and Mangalore centres for outlying and bordering Kannadiga candidates.

KCET 2025: How to Apply?

The Karnataka Common Entrance Test registration process consists of filling out the application form, uploading scanned documents, payment of the fee, and final submission.

Step 2: Click on the KCET 2025 registration link. once available.

Step 3: Complete the registration process by entering the required details.

Step 4: Fill out the KCET application form 2025

Step 5: Upload the required documents and pay the application fee.

Step 6: Submit the application form and print a hard copy for future reference.

KCET 2025: Application Fee

Candidates from general merit, 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 500 to register for the exam whereas the ones belonging to scheduled caste (SC), and scheduled tribe (ST) must pay Rs 250 while filling out the application form. On the other hand, candidates originating from other states and not Karnataka are required to pay an application fee of Rs 750 whereas foreign candidates need to pay Rs 5,000 for the same.
