Kelly Ripa again proves how “popular” she is with fans.

The Live with Kelly and Mark host transformed into Wicked character Glinda — played by Best Supporting Actress Oscar nominee Ariana Grande in the film — for the morning talk show’s “After the Oscars Show” opener, which was posted to social media ahead of the March 3 episode.

Not to be upstaged, her husband and cohost Mark Consuelos presented his best Fiyero in the spot, giving Wicked star Jonathan Bailey some heady competition in the Wicked hunk department.

In the video, the couple appear in costume embedded in clips from the movie.

“Henceforth, the pronouncifying of my name will no longer be pronouncified ‘Glinda,’ but simply ‘Kellinda,'” Ripa announces to the cheering townsfolk after popping her bubble-transport to their delight.

Consuelos then shows off some questionable dance moves dressed as Fiyero and introduces himself to Boq (Ethan Slater): “I’m Mark — Consuelos, sexiest TV host,” he says with a wink.

Ripa appears in the film’s “Popular” musical scene opposite Best Actress Oscar nominee Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba, then Consuelos informs Elphaba that he is indeed shallow. Finally, Ripa’s Kellinda performs “Defying Gravity” with Elphaba, who asks “Are you coming?” Consuelos shows up to inform her that they can’t join her because they’re “holding space” for their “After the Oscars Show.”

Ripa posted her transformation into Kellinda on Instagram thanking makeup artist Kristofer Buckle and hairstylist Ryan Trygstad  in the caption, “Follow me beyond Oz into the land of make believe. Let’s hear it for the actual wizards 🪄🔮@kristoferbuckle @ryantrygstadhair.”

Consuelos told PEOPLE that his wife’s assistant called him to say hello to Ariana Grande (really Ripa in makeup).

“I was like, ‘What!? I’m not prepared for this,” Consuelos said. “And she completely fooled me because when I grabbed the phone, I truly thought that was Grande…. It was freaky!”

Ripa and Consuelos will be in Hollywood to speak with the night’s winners as they walk off stage during the awards ceremony. The Live team will assemble the best moments with the winners and highlight the top fashions at the event to present to viewers at 9 a.m. EST (check local listings) on Monday when Ripa and Consuelos take the stage in front of fans at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood where the Oscars were handed out just hours before. The show will feature special guests and a musical performance.
