Ketch Caravan Park in Worcester is undergoing significant redevelopment, modernizing its facilities while maintaining its longstanding appeal. 

The site, which has welcomed holidaymakers for over a century, is now open for bookings, offering moorings, touring caravan spaces, motorhome pitches, and camping options.

The upgrades include new static caravans available for purchase, with a 25-year pitch agreement and a waived pitch fee for 2025. 

Prices for these units start at £35,000, with annual fees set at £3,350 from 2026. The park also caters to short-term visitors with touring and motorhome pitches, each equipped with electrical hookups. 

According to a report by Birmingham Live, tent campers can take advantage of grass pitches that include a 16-amp electric supply.

The redevelopment is expected to enhance the experience for guests while also positioning the park as a more competitive player in the local outdoor hospitality market. 

The improvements include fully refurbished washroom facilities with increased water pressure, high-quality finishes, and a modern aesthetic. A full wet room has been added for accessibility, along with a newly constructed laundry room. 

Security has also been upgraded with new electric gates, expanded CCTV coverage, and a live-in warden. Additionally, the entire site has undergone a complete rewiring, along with drainage enhancements and improved fire safety measures.

The park is also emphasizing its appeal to boating enthusiasts, with moorings available along the River Severn. Guests with a valid River Severn fishing license can enjoy free on-site fishing.

To showcase the updates, Ketch Caravan Park is hosting open events every Saturday in March from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. “Call down for a visit and you’ll notice some exciting changes,” a park representative said, highlighting the site’s new static caravans and upgraded amenities.

By modernizing its infrastructure and refining its offerings, Ketch Caravan Park is positioning itself as a strong choice for both short- and long-term stays. 

These updates align with broader industry trends, where parks are increasingly focusing on improving amenities and enhancing security to meet evolving guest expectations.
