Ahead of Hollywood’s biggest night, the Golden Raspberry Awards, commonly known as the Razzies, has unveiled the, uh, “winners” of the 2025 Razzie Awards.

Marvel’s Madame Web led the worst in contemporary cinema with three “wins,” including Worst Picture and Worst Actress for star Dakota Johnson. Francis Ford Coppola‘s sci-fi Megalopolis, Todd Phillips‘ sequel Joker: Folie à Deux, and Jerry Seinfeld‘s Pop-Tarts dramedy Unfrosted trailed close behind with two “wins” each.

In a statement, Coppola said he was “thrilled” over the “distinctive honor” bestowed upon his film, which flopped at the box office and was largely panned by critics. (EW’s Maureen Lee Lenker called the feature “bloated” and “unforgivably dull.”)

“I am thrilled to accept the Razzie Award in so many important categories . . . and for the distinctive honor of being nominated as the worst director, worst screenplay, and worst picture at a time when so few have the courage to go against the prevailing trends of contemporary moviemaking!” said Coppola.

He continued, “In this wreck of a world today, where ART is given scores as if it were professional wrestling, I chose to NOT follow the gutless rules laid down by an industry so terrified of risk that despite the enormous pool of young talent at its disposal, may not create pictures that will be relevant and alive 50 years from now.”

Coppola concluded his statement by offering his “sincere thanks” to the “brilliant colleagues” who shaped the film, as well as a reminder that “box office is only about money, and like war, stupidity and politics, has no true place in our future.”
