In 2023, the JEE Advanced closing rank for Aerospace Engineering was 2,694. By 2024, this cut-off improved to 2,394, as admission is solely based on rank.
Aerospace Engineering Course
IIT-Bombay offers two courses in Aerospace Engineering — a four-year B.Tech degree in aerospace engineering and a five-year dual degree programme, which awards both a B.Tech and an M.Tech degree upon completion.
Aerospace Engineering Course Fees
The fee for the four-year B.Tech programme in Aerospace Engineering at IIT Bombay is Rs 11.10 lakh, comprising Rs 8 lakh in tuition fees and Rs 2.94 lakh for hostel accommodation. The five-year B.Tech + M.Tech dual degree course costs Rs 10 lakh. For students pursuing M.Tech in Aerospace Engineering, the average salary offered in 2024 was Rs 23.50 lakh per annum, with the highest package reaching Rs 1.68 crore.
