Mark Consuelos, who once barely contained himself during an extremely horny live morning TV segment that included an arousing on-air foot massage, has confirmed what we knew all along: Physical touch is his intimate love language with wife Kelly Ripa.
In the run-up to Valentine’s Day, Consuelos and Ripa welcomed psychotherapist and author Terri Cole to Live With Kelly and Mark on Wednesday’s episode, where the writer quizzed them both on how they communicate their love for each other after 28 years of marriage.
After Cole pointed out the differences between how men and women communicate and that men enjoy “getting sexual” more than women, Ripa quipped, “It sounds like you and I are in parallel marriages” over the assessment.
“I like physical touch, for sure,” Consuelos later said, after Cole asked the couple how they enjoy communicating their affection.
“That’s how he likes to express, and I’m more of a conversationalist,” Ripa added, with Consuelos quipping, “Two things can happen at the same time!”
He later added: “I need to talk to you. I really need to talk to you, she knows what that means.”

Earlier during the segment, Cole asked the couple what they enjoy about each other.
“I really, really like how smart she is and how much she makes me laugh,” Consuelos said. Added Ripa: “I can’t think of a thing I don’t like about him. I like how grown-up he is. He’s a very pragmatic person, and he’s an empath. I like all of those things. He also makes me laugh a lot.”

Consuelos and Ripa regularly discuss married life on their morning talk show, from the aforementioned spicy segment featuring foot massages to a February 2024 trip back to visit the Las Vegas chapel where they were first married in 1996, after working together on the soap opera All My Children.
