- Players who reach Gold rank by the end of Season 1 will receive the Blood Shield skin for Invisible Woman and the Blood Blaze costume for Human Torch.
NetEase Games has announced that Marvel Rivals players will soon have the opportunity to earn free skins for Invisible Woman and Human Torch. Invisible Woman made her debut alongside Mister Fantastic at the beginning of Season 1: Eternal Night Falls. Marvel Rivals also announced that Human Torch and The Thing will be added to the hero shooter’s ever-expanding roster at a later date, rounding out the members of The Fantastic Four.
Invisible Woman excels as a Strategist in Marvel Rivals, providing essential support to her teammates in the way of shields and healing. Her ultimate even has the ability to turn an entire zone invisible and slow enemies who enter it. While details have been sparse about the Human Torch, the hero is expected to arrive with a large mid-season update on February 21. Leakers claim that the hero will be a Duelist with the ability to create walls of flame in an effort to better control zones. It’s also rumored that he will have a team-up with Storm where they can create fire tornadoes.

Marvel Rivals Fans Are Unhappy With Captain America: Brave New World Promotion
Marvel Rivals fans take to social media to express their displeasure with the hero shooter’s upcoming promotion with Captain America: Brave New World.
In a recent post on Twitter, NetEase Games shared Dev Talk 12 and announced that it would be changing the way certain Competitive rewards function during Season 1: Eternal Night Falls. Originally, players who reached Gold rank during the first half of the season were going to receive the Blood Shield skin for Invisible Woman in Marvel Rivals. Afterward, the costume would become unavailable. However, after gamers provided feedback to the developers, they decided to extend the window of time in which players can earn the cosmetic to the end of the season. Furthermore, they announced that fans who reach Gold rank by the end of Season 1 will also receive the Blood Blaze costume for Human Torch.
Marvel Rivals Players Can Earn Invisible Woman and Human Torch Skins
As of writing, there’s no way of knowing exactly what Marvel Rivals‘ free skins will look like because they haven’t been added to the game just yet. However, given the season’s gothic aesthetic, many fans believe the costumes will paint the characters in a darker light. It’s possible players will get a sneak peek at the skins when the large mid-season update launches on February 21.
Gamers looking to acquire more outfits also have the opportunity to win a free cosmetic bundle in Marvel Rivals as part of a Valentine’s Day giveaway. During a limited window of time, sponsored streamers will be giving away the 60th Wedding Anniversary bundle to every player who joins their Quick Match lobby. The bundle includes skins for Invisible Woman and Mister Fantastic. It also comes with emotes and a unique MVP screen. With the mid-season update just around the corner and new content on the way, many fans are looking forward to seeing what NetEase Games does next.
