Marvel Rivals has given players their first look at gameplay for Storm’s upcoming Goddess of Thunder costume, which will be available for purchase on March 13 at 7 PM PDT. NetEase Games is currently nearing the end of Season 1: Eternal Night Falls in Marvel Rivals. While there’s no word on when Season 2 will launch, many fans are already clamoring to find out which character will become the game’s next playable hero.

Storm is a Duelist in Marvel Rivals with the ability to boost the damage and movement speed of her teammates. Her ultimate ability, Omega Hurricane, allows her to pull in nearby enemies while dealing a significant amount of damage. Storm also has team-up powers with both Thor and Human Torch, the latter of which allows her to create a flaming tornado on the battlefield. While she was initially heavily criticized by many fans, with some calling for her to be reworked as a Strategist, recent buffs have turned her into one of the title’s most formidable heroes.

In a recent post on Twitter, NetEase Games revealed gameplay of the upcoming Goddess of Thunder skin for Storm in Marvel Rivals. The form-fitting Asgardian armor features a silver and white aesthetic with blue accents. She’s also sporting a silver crown with wings that stretch wide to each side. Her signature white hair has turned electric blue, along with her eyes. The emote that comes with the cosmetic bundle shows her hammer swirling around her before she grabs it.

Storm’s Goddess of Thunder costume in Marvel Rivals is inspired by a time in the comics when she briefly lost her powers. During this period, she was manipulated by Loki and given a hammer called Stormcaster with similar abilities to those of Mjölnir. The weapon allowed her to don Asgardian armor while wielding it and gave her the ability to channel the elements once more. There’s no official word on how much the outfit or its bundle will cost.

The Goddess of Thunder costume will be released alongside the Presidential Attire skin for Loki in Marvel Rivals on March 13 at 7 PM PDT. Gamers looking to acquire even more cosmetics may want to take advantage of the Twitch Drops for Season 1.5, which include a free skin for Adam Warlock. Players can also earn the Mrs. Barnes skin for Black Widow by participating in the limited-time event called Galacta’s Cosmic Adventure.
